Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri

The Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri is located on the highway. It is a relatively new property and the rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms. We had booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 and they had thoughtfully allocated 2 rooms with an interconnecting door. The construction of the Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri is not complete yet so their main lobby is not ready and their reception is functioning from a corner office in the front. They have a restaurant for stay in guests whose plan includes food also. Since we had booked for breakfast we had it there. They offer a buffet breakfast with a fairly good spread and the food was also tasty. There is also an attached pure vegetarian restaurant where we had dinner. Their menu is like any normal restaurant with a decent variety of chaat and tandoori dishes. The food was quite tasty. The Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri has some indoor recreational facility with some carrom boards but did not have table tennis tables. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the badminton court that they have with the racquets and shuttle cocks provided by the Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri. The Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri also has a swimming pool.

They welcomed us with a drink and then there was a deal on make my trip that we would receive upgrade on room they agreed on it as soon as possible and gave us a room with bathtub. The checkin was so effortless and that staff is really good. They offered us high tea and there was some mini activity as it was a weekend. Later on the dinner served was delicious and mouth watering with a huge variety of cuisine like fish, chicken and egg starters and soup and many options in veg along with one italian food option (pesto pasta and lasagna) along with tasty dessert options like mango pastry, walnut brownie. The room service was quick and easy. The breakfast was served respectfully and the management was really good. They heard our request and served us accordingly. The swimming pool was so good. The activity game room was superb. The checkout was at 11 am but they heard our request in this too and allowed us to checkout by 12 without any charges. It was beyond my expectations hence i loved being here.

The location is opportune, on the highway. Overall the property is spacious and very well maintained. There is something for all edges. We went with friends and kids. We were lucky that we got attached (common door) between the rooms which made it very convenient for us to chit chat in one room and place for the kids to play in the other room. Swimming pool while, i found it slightly smaller but was nice and they also have a baby pool attached to it. The water quality was good. The play zone/ activity area was also fantastic and lots of options. They also conduct live fun activities for children. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. Two restaurants, one serving only veg food was also nice and food quality was excellent again they have got a good spread for morning breakfast. In a nutshell, the best place which one can refer to friends and also consider revisiting. We made farm (igatpuri) as a base and we went to shirdi and trimbakeshwar.

Brilliant stay at rakabi the fern. We went for the holi long weekend and they made sure the stay became memorable. Right from the quick check-in, to a wonderful room, complimentary hi-tea and snacks to fun and games in the evening with very enthusiastic and helpful staff. It was really a good experience. It got even better on day 2 with the holika dahan, holi colours, traditional snacks, rain dance, live music and large spread of food. Special mention to one of the team members - indrani - very friendly and hospitable, taking a genuine interest in the guests and surprising us all with her excellent singing skills and being so sporting! added bonus, we got to try our hand at pottery too and had an amazing relaxing weekend. Thanks to the team at the Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri for making it a great stay. Will certainly recommend it to people i know!

The stay was beautiful. We took a room with a tub which really helped to keep our toddler busy. The staff is friendly. Indrani specifically- very courteous and checked on us a couple of times. Food is really good too. The pool is very well maintained and helped us have an amazing time. However the in room dining service was poor, major communication gap between the person taking the order and what eventually comes, so be alert and don't mind repeating your order. We faced the same when we were seated at the restaurant too. The front desk staff need to be a bit more friendly- again communication gaps between housekeeping and reception. There is no game room for tt or indoor play for kids. The current room is stuffy and stinnky. Overall. I'll definitely come back but improvements are required to call it a 4-star.

Neat and Clean premises so as the parking area and garden. Courteous staff right from security/watchmen to receptionist, service staff and restaurant manager to waiters. Not single point where one can cut marks or complaint. Food - Dinner & Breakfast - tasty, mouthwatering and serving as per our requirements. Stay of only one day/night become a lifelong memorable. Hotspot for travelers after a long drive, relaxing and refreshing too. Highway touching premises having good front view of surrounding hills, lush green scenic fields, even one can enjoy sitting in the Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri room. Amazing especially in mansoon. We'll definitely visit once again rather again and again with friends and other family members. 🥰💕💞👍❤️😋🤭

The Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri. Is right on the highway. Gives a good stopover point when traveling for long journeys. Rooms are near and well maintained. The sound of traffic does. Not come in the rooms. Hotel keeps lot of activities to keep the guests occupied including a visit to the vipassana center nearby. We took a club room on the higher floor, view was good, seeing the mountain in the morning and evening light was excellent. Food was ok, there is also a pure veg restaurant in the premises. Morning buffet also ok. Can be improved with one or two specials. It will change the whole classification of the buffett. We did not take the evening buffet as options were more for non veg.

The property is well maintained and the reception front desk was very helpful. They offered a complimentary upgrade and the room was very clean and cozy. Their service is also good and the food also is good in their restaurant. Overall, i'd definitely vouch for a stay here if in igatpuri

Nice well maintained with great good and service. Visited on our anniversary day and they arranged a nice cake at short notice. The breakfast buffet was great with many options to choose from. Dinner buffet was equally good. Nice pool although water not temperature controlled and could be quite cold in the morning. Decent indoor game options and nice lawn. They also arrange a visit to the vipassana nearby. Overall a great experience

Stayed for just 1 night for a family celebration. The Rakabi The Fern Igatpuri is relatively new and very conveniently located. Rooms are very spacious. Food is good, the staff is very courteous. Overall it was a nice experience.

We have been for monsoon visit at igatpuri and decided to stay at fern, looking at brand and chain, room, staff politeness and evening games activities was very good and fun. Game room need improvement food department has lot scope and quality to improve! special mention for indrani for exceptional service and help in games !

Just small getaway.. The stay was good. Vegetarian food is better than non vegetarian. Room is very clean.

We visited this property for office outing with 24 people and the experience was out of the world. We visited this property 2nd time. Food and room facilities were good. They arranged the cake at short notice for one of the team member on occasion of birthday. It is best bet to stay at igatpuri. I would recommend this to others and would like to stay again.
