Rakus Place Hotel and Cafe

We travel-led as a group of 3 friends and it was a good stay at rakus. The restaurant/cafe at the ground floor serves some lip smacking food and great vibes at night with live music on occasions. House keeping could be improved, we had to ask a couple of times for fresh towels etc, but they were prompt in providing those, so not a major problem there. Good location overall. It is an uphill walk of about 100-150 mtrs from bhagsu parking. You can get cabs to any location across dharamshala, mcleodganj, dharamkot from bhagsu parking and the Rakus Place Hotel and Cafe guys can arrange cabs for you as well. Bhagsunag temple is at a walkable distance. Definitely recommend.

Hi we had great stay at rakus place. Pros. Neat and clean, good hospitality, parking assistance, good food bit expensive. Nice restaurant, nice sitting with good food. Cones all the amenities were not provided like ironing and laundry service. Still i rate this place excellent because or the hospitality of the staff. If i had to visit bhagsu again. I will book this Rakus Place Hotel and Cafe again. Thank u

It was a lovely stay, pros *rooms were neat and clean *cafe downstairs had a real nice vibe and food was delicious. *manager amar will help in everything *they have ample free parking *lots of cafes around if you want to explore cons *a little uphill, if you can walk easily then there shouldnt be any problem. With all the good things i experienced at rakus, this little walk never bothered me.

Stayed for 3 days in Deluxe Room with Balcony with my friend. location was the best to cover HPCA stadium, Bhagsu Nag temple, waterfall, Dal Lake, Naddi view point and for Triund trekking. Mr. Amar Hotel manager was very helpful with information regarding the place, local transport facility for in McLeod Ganj and nice personality. Foods were delicious and enjoyed the evening music show.😍

It was a pleasant stay and the location of the Rakus Place Hotel and Cafe was very good. Their cafe is among-st the most popular cafe’s in the town and they have their own parking space as well. Breakfast served was very nice and the food quality is awesome. Overall, a good play to stay with family and friends.

We booked rakus on reviews at mmt. It was a great stay here. Location is excellent. Rooms very neat n clean. Very cooperative staff both front desk n room service. Live band is the soul of this place. Great sitting arrangement n scrumptious delicacies. Worth spending every penny here. Highly recommended.

Hotel staff was helpful and kind. They have enough parking space. I had room on 4th floor so somehow managed as they don't have lift. Room was decent with amazing mountain view. Towels were dirty so didnt used them. They have nice cafe with enough cuisines and ambience with weekend live music.

Loved the place for its positive vibes, high on energy staff, food and the warmth with which people welcome you here. The music nights here are a good change to unwind yourself. This pretty, colourful, lovely place has all my heart. Would love to come back soon.

Hotel location is very close to famous bhagsunag temple. Food is good. This Rakus Place Hotel and Cafe has excellent cafe along with live music.

The stay and rakes place and cafe, dharamshala was amazing, rooms were cozy and comfortable, it was clean, and food was great. Even the employees were very courteous and helping. Me and my family enjoyed every bit of the moment in that amazing ambience.

It's a good place to stay in. Well connected to taxi stand, shopping area, bhagsu fall. A decent stay with good restaurant and smiling & helpful staff. Live music show thrice a week would make your dinner a memorable one. Highly suggested.

Hotel is good and staffs also good but didn't find the beds and towels clean it smells. Restaurants is beautiful and if you are booked then fixed menu.
