Ramada gangtok is centrally located in gangtok just like the darjeeling one. Stone's throw away from the old gangtok ropeway and do drul chorten stupa. In fact, we could see the ropeway going to and fro from our room. Its located right on nh10 that leads to gangtok from siliguri. The back of the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden faces the valley and offers a beautiful view of it which owing to rains was covered in fog for most of our visit. The Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden has a casino, spa, gym and a rooftop swimming pool and bar. The service staff were exceptional. They upgraded our room to an executive one when we got there and also upgraded our umbrella to a larger Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden one whenever we were stepping out for a walk during a pour. I even loved the welcome cookies in our room and though the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden did not exactly have a bakery, they let us purchase some freshly baked ones to take home. The service staff proactively took special care of my elderly mom when i stepped out to visit nath la one saturday. Owing to the rains, altitude and lower temperature at nath la she had to stay back. They kept a watchful eye on her as she explored the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden, advised her not to step out in the rain, even managed her lunch and safely her back to the room when the room service was done with it. Special thanks to service team of mr. Tushar taming and md. Majibar rahman for this. There is a taj Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden and a mayfair Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden in gangtok as well but considering their similar if not higher price range, ramada's location makes it more attractive and value for money compared to the others. If you want to visit mg road or lal bazaar or go around gangtok in general, u can simply step out of the ramada and take short walks uphill and downhill to do it.

There service is great, the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden staff are humble and willing to consider the guest's requests. When we checked-in, we requested a room on the upper level and they changed our room. We were traveling with a baby and needed some help with getting baby food. The restaurant staff accommodated our request. The rooms have a great valley view. The location is 2 km away from mg marg and finding a taxi was easy. However, there was one guy among the restaurant staff who was always seen in a pullover (and probably was a restaurant manager) whom you could hear using foul language with the waiters. This kinda puts off the whole restaurant vibe. Also the restaurant staff in general can improve on politeness scale and practice smiling at guests.

The stay was cozy and quiet. The location was excellent as commute to the city was very easy. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff were friendly. Whoever is looking for a Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden in this range should go for this. Because after getting to gangtok you will realise you made the best decision.

Courteous, attentive and helpful staff, clean rooms with all amenities, breakfast buffet was very good - wide choices and tasty food. Location is very good - easy reach to MG Marg and other attractions. In-room dining options were limited, management should look into improving this. Overall a satisfying stay.

Amazing property, the rooms were clean and the staff was cooperative. The food was also great and the place offered the best of gangtok view. Nestled in the centre of gangtok, the place is close by to mg marg, one can walk and reach mg marg and taxis are also available.

It is nice property with good window valley view, overall i liked it, breakfast was good and staff was friendly although there is casino also but we did not explore, hope it worth try for next visit. Conformable stay throughout 2 days trip.

The Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden should work on the betterment of breakfast buffet service and food quality too. It was a horrible experience at the breakfast table for us.

Though the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden & staff is very good, there is scope for improvement. The room was quite dusty & we had to request again for deep cleaning. Also the towels provided were old & hard.
