Great stay experience at this ramada

Ramada gangtok is centrally located in gangtok just like the darjeeling one. Stone's throw away from the old gangtok ropeway and do drul chorten stupa. In fact, we could see the ropeway going to and fro from our room. Its located right on nh10 that leads to gangtok from siliguri. The back of the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden faces the valley and offers a beautiful view of it which owing to rains was covered in fog for most of our visit. The Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden has a casino, spa, gym and a rooftop swimming pool and bar. The service staff were exceptional. They upgraded our room to an executive one when we got there and also upgraded our umbrella to a larger Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden one whenever we were stepping out for a walk during a pour. I even loved the welcome cookies in our room and though the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden did not exactly have a bakery, they let us purchase some freshly baked ones to take home. The service staff proactively took special care of my elderly mom when i stepped out to visit nath la one saturday. Owing to the rains, altitude and lower temperature at nath la she had to stay back. They kept a watchful eye on her as she explored the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden, advised her not to step out in the rain, even managed her lunch and safely her back to the room when the room service was done with it. Special thanks to service team of mr. Tushar taming and md. Majibar rahman for this. There is a taj Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden and a mayfair Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden in gangtok as well but considering their similar if not higher price range, ramada's location makes it more attractive and value for money compared to the others. If you want to visit mg road or lal bazaar or go around gangtok in general, u can simply step out of the ramada and take short walks uphill and downhill to do it.

Excellent stay at ramada gangtok. We were a family of 4. Location is very near to many shops and mg marg is just a taxi ride away from the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden. The gangtok rope car can be reached by walk. They had really good varieties in breakfast including south indian food on a daily basis. Service was really good. Only con is since it’s a wood structure you can distinctly hear the foot steps of ppl upstairs and also if there is a loud group staying in the next room the sound is very disturbing. Overall a very good and comfortable stay

Location is very good - easy reach to MG Marg and other attractions. In-room dining options were limited, management should look into improving this. Overall a satisfying stay.

It is nice property with good window valley view, overall i liked it, breakfast was good and staff was friendly although there is casino also but we did not explore, hope it worth try for next visit. Conformable stay throughout 2 days trip.
