Ramada Resort by Wyndham Cochin

It's a great place to relax and spend time with family and friends. The swimming pool meanders and passes by the front of the cottages and feels more like a lagoon than a pool. The view is awesome facing the backwaters. The staff is friendly, helful and always have a smile for the guests. The ala carte is good, we tried several dishes and the rates are reasonable. On the con side, the breakfast could be better, our first days breakfast was good, while-the second day on the 6th not that much. They had chicken curry, no idea why, the sausages were cold, the doughnuts wear hopeless, there was no beans in the beans and cheese dish, i settled for bread and omelette with bacon and fruits. However the bacon and omelette was good, the breakfast on the 5th was also good with some decent sausages, pancakes etc. Those who like dos a could have from the live counter. On the whole, it's a must experience and value for money. I was with my family and definitely would visit again.

During our recent stay at one of the most beautiful properties in kochi, we were greeted by stunning views and an overall picturesque environment that truly stood out. The property itself is among the best we’ve encountered, with an aesthetic appeal that makes it a perfect getaway spot. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the general ambiance exudes tranquility and charm, making it an ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, whose attentiveness and hospitality set a positive tone for our stay. They were always ready to assist with a smile, providing recommendations and ensuring all our needs were met promptly. This level of service greatly enhanced our overall experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

Stayed in the lake view cottage though the pool view cottages had a better access to the pool and with a view of the backwaters. The option of pool view wasn’t available when i booked. May be because it’s not open for ott bookings. Nothing to regret though. Spacious rooms with a balcony. Food was decent. I expected more kerala items on the menu like puttu & aapam etc. I got pa-av bhaji for bf. The prawn with pineapple was totally messed up with some powder coating. The staff told me it’s mango powder. You could have just given some simple grilled prawns instead. No major complaints as such. 2 or 3 nights stay would be a relaxing holiday here. A special mention of the spa where i took foot reflexology. Totally worth the money.

Stay was picturesque but only problem we encountered is how we were received because the lock of our room and ac were not working as we entered our room and despite informing the front desk about this by us and also by the staff room boy who came along with us with our luggage, they made us to wait for 15 minutes and later gave us a smaller room than previous one. Even the reception staff especially merino was arguing about the room size when we raised the issue. Since the mistake was on resort authorities side we expected a better resolution of the whole problem and we got a worse result. Rest everything was good as usual about this resort including the delicious food and pleasant outdoors.

Had a stay with family for one day. Its a very good place. It is beautiful and maintained very well. Its near the lake and view from balcony was super. Place has a long pool and other amentities. We were welcomed and the guy who guided us to room explained each facilities and amenties in detailed manner. Appreciated. The food was awesome and had good varieties. we took buffet and quality of food was good. One thing to appreciate was foods were marked with allergy warnings. so each can decide their food based on their diet. One thing to point out is the staffs expecially fennel restaurents staffs were courteous and pro active. Definitly planning to come back.

I made the reservation for a single day and after spending about 4 hours here i was wishing i had booked for two days. Yes it's on the expensive side. But you get what you pay for. Everything from the room to the facilities to staff were amazing. The dinner buffet was memorizing and breakfast buffet was scrumptious. Especially noteworthy was the staff in fennel restaurant, especially sanuraj and jinu, both of who attended to us the whole time. The rooms and surroundings are really well maintained. Sitting on the balcony, watching the lake late into the night is simply amazing. I will definitely be back here.

I found the property in make my trip. The food and property ambience is breath taking. The staffs at the restaurant where super friendly. However i feel the reception staffs weren't upto mark. Being a 5 star Ramada Resort by Wyndham Cochin you need more trained and pleasant staffs. I found the receptionist very unproffesional (ladies. Other than that it was really worth it. Really happy with the staffs in the restaurant and everywhere else. Food was mind blowing.

We held our partners' meeting at ramada, and it was a fantastic choice. The private dining area provided a comfortable and professional atmosphere for discussions. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meeting. The food was excellent, with a diverse menu that impressed all our partners. We highly recommend ramada for business gatherings; they made our meeting productive and enjoyable.

Excellent resort and comfortabel to stay with family and friends. Athe variety in foods and the simplicity, authenticity of taste makes it one of the very best buffet. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Keep up the great work definitely will visit again!

Excellent property & hospitality with a great view. The restaurant served us amazing food. The staff mr devassia made sure he explained the dishes well before ordering. Had an amazing stay.

Location/hygiene/safety standards are good but food is not that great. Breakfast items are less not worth for including meals package.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

Resort is well maintained. Our room being on top floor had a small leakage when it rained heavily. Pool is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast options are well designed. Staff is friendly and approachable.

Resort with its serene location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, rejuvenating services like ayurvedic massages, explicit restaurant n bar services and many more, makes it a go to for a relaxing and calming experience. Recommended for all who needed to de-stress.

It's located in kumbalam on alappuzha highway. A bit outer to cochin town, so not much traffic or congestion. Staffs are so good, cleanliness also good. Everything went well for one night's stay.
