Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River)

The Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) is conveniently located and will be a perfect place if you wish to visit Varanasi with an objective to visit Viswanathji temple and also attend the famous Ganga Arati at Dashaswmedh ghat. Standard rooms are very tiny (where I stayed) and deprived of day light. However, it was sufficient for me as a solo traveler. It’s cost effective. The manager Mr. Faizan is really helpful. You should ideally speak to him before going there. The Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) is located in a narrow lane (which itself will help you experience the uniqueness of Varanasi) however you need to walk all the way from Godulia chowk where your cab will drop you. It’s a good walk. So may not be very convenient for people who has problem in walking. The also doesn’t have a lift / elevator. So you should be physically fit to climb the stairs. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Lord Viswanathji’s temple is just 10/15 min walk while Dashaswmedh ghat is only 3/4 min away from this Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River). If your budget permits you can book the river facing rooms as this Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) is right on the bank of Holy Ganges. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and could feel a positive vibe!

Beginning with the service, I reached at around 3 am in the morning, the manager Manish Ji sent me a boy in that hour of the night to collect my luggage from Gadoliya which was bit far from the Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River). The room provided was the top floor room with excellent Ganges view. Should opt for the Ganges view room if possible though bit costly but well worth the money. The food bit costlier than street side shops but too tasty for my liking. I tried their pizza 🍕 and it was in par with Domino's Pizza but less costlier than Domino's. I tried their burger too and kit kat shake and it was upto the class of our metropolitan foods but less costlier than our metropolitan standards. The room was spacious and of standard of a 4 star Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River), bathroom was clean and big. Only downside is they don't have a lift till now but will soon will make an arrangement, so aged person should not opt for super deluxe rooms which is in the top floor, better go for superior rooms.

I was a Solo traveler and the staff of this Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) made me feel so welcome and safe. The manager of Rashmi Guest House Faizan Ahmad, a man of few words but lots of action. Everything you need is done by him promptly. Rishab Dubey general manager, very friendly soul. Mr Sanjeev, manager of Shiv Kashi Guest House, A very helpful person who gave great advice to me for packing Ganges water. Bablu -security, dolphin restaurant. His determination gave me a back door entry to the Man Singh museum next door, when the main entrance was flooded. Rajeev, Avinash and Deepak at the dolphin restaurant, great, warm and friendly.

I stayed in the Standard room. The size of the room and toilet is very small for the price. Lift is not there. Except the above two, rest all are ok. The Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River)'s close proximity to the Ganga River and the Vishwanath Temple was very convenient for us (hindu pilgrims) to have a spiritual bath in the river at 4 am and hire a boat for the dawn ride and then visit the Vishwanath Temple. The boats can be hired right in front of the Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) and also from near by Dashashwamedh Ghat. The rates differ as per the demand. First see the number of boats floating vacant then bargain accordingly starting from Rupees 50 per pax. The Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) has internet facility also. The staff are very friendly and honest. Services are excellent.

We stayed at rashmi guest house for 4 nights. We had booked a standard room. Cons: 1. The room was small. The bed took most of the place, then there was a small table attached to the wall. No closets or chairs. 2. Our room was on 2nd floor and there was no lift. So lots of stairs to climb up and down. Pros: 1. Location of the guest house is terrific - just on the man mandir ghat. So immediate access to river ganges. 2. There was always hot water available( we visited during onset of winter) 3. Service is very good and all the stuffs were courteous and helpful.

A good property situated on the banks of ganges. Rooms are neat and clean. Very convenient for boating, darshan and watching the "ganga aarti" (as you need not come all the way from some property in the heart of the city at about 5 am for darshan and 6pm for aarti. The behavior of front office and other staff is excellent. They provide you with a porter to get your luggage to and from godowlia chowk. Mr. Faizan (receptionist) is very very soft spoken person who listens and resolves any issues that you may have during your stay.

Hotel is very near to Kasi Viswesaranath Template,Kasi visalakshi template and Annapurna devi temple and shopings.
We liked the way they were welcoming with the tradition of rose mal a's of a all the guests with complementary drink. Total staff is very cool and polite. Especially I was happy that the Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River) have open terrace to dry wet cloths and for relax too. On the terrace we can See the Ganga River till where the main ha with is going On the Ganga River every evening. Nice Place,

It was good stay at rashmi guest house though room phone was not working for which i used to call them with my personal phone to order something but this certainly not for every room i guess. The best part is location of the Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River). Every thing you want to visit in banaras is nearby from kashi vishwanath temple to gowliya chowk and not to forget ganga art i is just few seconds away even you can see from stairs of Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River).

The phone didn't work and I walked all the way from 3 rd floor to ground floor. The service needs some improvement.

This is nice room. The allotted room was very nice. Dolphin Restaurant was very good but high rate.

The service was excellent we came at9p. M they sent us escort to reach to Rashmi Guest House (A Place On River). The deluxe room was good but the stander-ed room was was very dark y due to wall paper choice was not good. I was making the room dull. Need to think about upgrade. Rest all excellent. Ro water availabilty should be there.

well behaved staff and manager is very supporting nature. River view rooms [ premium deluxe room ] were having excellent river view & well decorated. Even attached Dolfin Restaurant food quality is very good.

Food is good but expensive. Hotel location is near by temple. Hotel staff is very friendly co operative type. Rashmi guest house is in front of ganga river. Beautiful sight. Hot water 24 hour available. So finally i sugesst new travler go and stay rashmi guest house

I like the staff behaviour, services and all. Overall I experience very comfortable stay here so that I haven't face any issues. So next time I visit again to Varanasi wanna be stay here.

Highly recommended guest house for kashi vishwanath temple visit. Near dashashwamedh ghat. We really had a very comfortable stay. The staff is very cooperative.

It is right across the river front and very near to the main temple and market for shopping. Great experience.

It is very good peaceful and good looking Around the Gganga, enjoying very much.

Location was nice however room service and basic things to be checked before arrival of guest like lock was not working, tv etc. Repetitive reminder need not to be given for such work
