One of the finest stay , confortable arrangements for accomodation, fantasstic staff, the chef and his preparation are exquiste, The view of sunrise and Mt Kanchenjangha from the hotel room is unique. the hotel property has beautiful garden , wonderful flora sprawling across the entire property . Very peaceful stay , good food , well behaved staff and above all the beautiful nature will make ones stay at ghis Ratna Vajra Vatika memorable

Rat view from rooms

Food was good but slightly overpriced. Rooms were good with a great view of valleys and tea gardens. Housekeeping needs to improve. Availability of electricity at night is a big problem.

The mountain view room we booked here provided is a breath taking view of Kanchan janghon, which will remain in our memory for ever. The service and facilities at hotel was excellent. I will comeback here with my family again

Overall stay was good. Good staff behaviour. View from room was majestic. Will come back again. They charge extra for heater which they didn't mention at first so that's one drawback i can say. Food quality was absolutely delicious

Worst hotel in the area

I went to tinchulay along with my family last week and had booked my stay in 2 deluxe premium rooms here with lot of money. The day i reached the hotel, i was told that rooms are not available as they got another bulk booking for an event of canara bank. So they will shift us to another hotel. No information was given before reaching hotel. The other hotel where i was shifted was a very cheap homestay with untidy rooms, toilet, and all rooms were smelling and in a totally remote area. This is definitely not what i expected after booking room with huge money. The staffs did not cooperate at all. I was helpless as this is a remote place and i had no other option. The food had to be taken from the other homestay as there is no other option. Food was super costly and not good. They refused to adjust money as i was told that i did not call them before booking ! i will not recommend this hotel as they cheated my money this way.

Dear Mr Ranjan Basu, we did call you prior 2 days before check in for the room issue, as it was a day event, we gad given you the option to choose to stay at the hotel but the check in on the 10th June was possible only after 4 pm, so gave another option of shifting to the property near by, so we shifted you the next day along with a sight seeing of Rs1500 of three points and dropped you at the homestay nearby. You could have called me and tried to solve the matter with me itself. But I did not recieve any calls or any whatsapp message from you Sir. As the booking was for 1 view and 1 non view Room, I made booking for 2 view rooms for you especially paying more than I recived so that you wouldn't face any difficulties. And for the return, car was managed by different person and not by me so iam not responsible for that Sir. I have my apologies to you for the hardships you have suffered but all the things you mentioned above all don't seem to be true. Thank you

The place and quality of foods are good at reasonable rate. We did bonfire at night and all arrangement was done by their staff. Overall good experience.

I booked one 3 bed room by looking at the pictures. But the hotel provided me one 2 bed room facility. I requested the hotel staff multiple times. But they did not listen to my request. It was very bad experience. I would request to refund 50% of my booking amount.

Dear sir, with due respect there are three types of rooms premium triple bedded attic room( top floor rooms, premium deluxe double bedded attic room( top floor rooms)and deluxe double bedded room( ground floor rooms) these are categories of room ( from highest to lowest) yours was a deluxe room booking. We are extremely sorry on our part, as the images in the profile was for the whole property and it must have given you a wrong impression regarding the rooms. Besides that we did try our best to cater you, we will definitely not make that mistake.
