Raya's Grand

Good Hotel centrally located in Kumbakonam. All important Temples, shopping and station nearby within few kms. Rooms are large & clean. Linen is clean. Room service is efficient. Marble floors are polished regularly. The only negative is that they have a restaurant which is attached apparently leased to a third party where the quality of food is bad. If they can take corrective action on this aspect it will be a top class Raya's Grand. They can also improve by having a travel desk attached as most customers are tourists.

Raya's grand is part of the raya's group of properties that has been in the hospitality and restaurant industry in kumbakonam for over 50 years. Raya's grand is conveniently located near the mahamaham tank and has a great veg restaurant within. The rooms are spacious and adequately clean. Room service is excellent. Parking is also secure and spacious. Shows some signs of aging, but nothing to complain. Great for family stay with connected rooms and suites

Property is at the heart of the town and very nearer to the temples,neatly maintained food is excellent at the restaurant.Small request you please provide wi-fi connection. I was stayed in room no; 111 from 27.01.25 to 29.01.25.very nice service. We purchased two kuthu vilakku of hight four feet at natchiarkoil. PURUSHOTHAMAN

Lovely location. Stayed in premier room facing the kasi Visvanathan temple Gopuram. Ample closed car parking. Delicious breakfast. Rooms spacious and well maintained including common areas with nice seating arrangements in 2 nd floor.

Good property in centre of the town. Rooms were clean and good. The restaurant was a bit off, not a part off, the property though. Since we visited during holidays the staffing was low.
