Red Thread Calangute

We had dismissed the property looking at its location but on physically checking the place out we fell in love with it! Vintage decor, ambient lighting, and soothing fragrances welcome you into this quaint property. Rooms are slightly smaller but, very well done up. It is almost as if you are in an English country! There is a pool inside the property which can be accessed till late by the in-house guests. Hospitality is excellent, stay is hygienic and cozy and location is safe and convenient with abundant parking space around. They also have a japanese restaurant in the property which is one of the handful of authentic japanese cuisine restaurants in goa. All in all this place is a must-visit!

Rooms are equipped with fantastic interiors. Beds, wardrobes, sockets are designed in an old traditional style which gives them an elegant look. Rooms are exactly the same as shown in mmt. Staffs are very kind and courteous and always at your service. The swimming pool is there but it was closed due to covid but u can sit nearby and relax. Breakfast is not so exciting and they do not offer many varieties. Situated at around 1. 8 km from Calangute beach in a peaceful area. Opposite the Red Thread Calangute you will find cars and activa on a rental basis at rs. 300 per day. Do not forget to ask for room slippers as they are having excellent hand-made room slippers. I loved those pairs.

The Red Thread Calangute is very aesthetically pleasing and rooms are spacious. We had booked 2 premier rooms for 3 guests. I only found the room service to be slow and breakfast served very delayed. I noticed how the placed was decently staffed but still the communication and service to be slow. Since the Red Thread Calangute is setup 2 months ago, i would recommend the staff to train for same. Additionally the 11am checkout rule is a strict and they don’t adjust whatever your situation might be, so something to keep in mind while booking the Red Thread Calangute.

I was given an upgrade on arrival at home which i quite liked. Everything at the Red Thread Calangute was great except for 2 things mentioned below: the breakfast menu had limited options although food was subtle and certainly did taste good. The housekeeping guys did not do well as in terms of room cleaning, only the room was cleaned properly not the bathroom and i had to ask for specific items which should have been there at the time of room cleaning itself. Overall it is a nice property with good interiors and my stay was good, could have been better

Fabulous rooms with good authentic japanese food. Great Red Thread Calangute, welcomed with kokum drink, then guided to our room where there was complimentary locally made port wine (delicious. They also had complimentary head and foot massage once during the stay. Everyone was very courteous and went above and beyond to make our stay better. Reyaz was always welcoming when we were going in and out, he always answered our questions and guided us to make sure we were properly informed. Thank you team red thread - calangute.

This was our third visit to goa but it was the best till now and the reason is the red thread calangute. The room's interiors, the food/breakfast, the indoor pool setup, the complimentary wine, the gesture by staff, everything was superbbbb ! shubham (front office) especially was so nice with us and he handled everything coolly. He gave us early check-in on our request. Other staff members were also polite and in-room service was quick. It was certainly giving us a feeling of a 5 star brand Red Thread Calangute only.

The stay was great and rooms were clean and the staff was also good. We had book an Executive Room but they gave us a Premium room saying this was the highest category room . But at the time of booking I payed more for executive rooms rather than premium room . But I think all the rooms are same in this Red Thread Calangute. Breakfast is also limited there is no buffet like in other big Red Thread Calangutes. you have fixed menu from that you have to choose your order. But the food and service was great 😃

The property is small and luxe. The staff is very courteous and aim to please the guest. The veg food options are limited however they were quick to help out with options. The rooms are tastefully designed and maintained. The toiletries are of excellent quantity. The bathrooms are beautifully designed. The highlight of the stay is definitely the shower. A big thank you to vinayak, vishal, am-mu and the team for making our stay so comfortable! looks like we are going to be a repeat customer

It was 3 days stay at Red Thread Calangute and it was outstanding and beautiful property. The staff was so kind and helpful, we got complementry foot massage. Overall amazing stay!♥️

It was less crowded and the staff were wearing mask all the time and the room was cleaned on requests. Breakfast was great.

Just one small thing before booking the Red Thread Calangute i called them and confirmed if i will get an early check in. However the same was refused at the reception. However the guy at the reception was very polite. Small nice pool. I couldn’t get time to use that. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thank you

Excellent location, staff & interiors. Parking tight but available. Breakfast good, pancakes were awesome. Fine additional touches to the rooms & toilets. Overall a pleasant stay.

Everything was good but it too expensive room price as per the size of the room rooms are not so big as per they charged

A pretty Red Thread Calangute with boutique setup and some well mannered staffs. Loved the way they sanitized and cleaned the areas and the room. Food serving staffs were wearing masks and kept the cutlery clean. Will visit again!
