Renai Kappad Beach Resort

Pros - 1. It's really close to the beach. Can spend hours in the beach and come back by walk easily. 2. There is an absolute class view of the sea and rooms get nice breeze all the time. 3. Nice food. Cons - 1. It shares the main gate with local beverages outlet and the long queue makes the entry quite uncomfortable in the evening 2. No connectivity. Already the mobile network connectivity in this area is poor and resort wifi connection has no internet access. 3. Our check-in time is 1 pm as per booking but we were asked to come at 2 pm. But checkout was right at 11 am and they even reminded me in the morning about it.

The staff were really nice and provided good Service. The location of this resort was also good, right in front of the beach. Our kids had a great time during our stay. They had very good open space and its kids friendly. The only point to be considered is that, the pricing of food was pretty expensive, considering the location. Also, we could not get any Kerala specialty food during our stay. We were expecting to taste a good variety of Kerala food. But, that was disappointing..! Otherwise, it is a well maintained property and a good place to stay.

The location is excellent, especially the beach view from the upper floor. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were very polite and excellent. It is well connected by road, rail & air. The nearest airport is calicut and railway station is koyilandy. The property is a bit old but rooms are well maintained. The bathroom needs better maintenance as we found some ants in our bathroom which was a bit of nuisance. There are limited food and beverages option. Overall it was a pleasant and peaceful stay.

We stayed on 22/23 december 2019. For 3 of us, we were provided with only 2 towels, 1 napkin, 2 soaps. For 3 people, they should give 3 soaps for bath, 1 for wash basin, 3 towels, 1 napkin. On bed they should provide quilt rather than blanket with top and bottom bed sheets (blanket looked like those from Indian railways). Bedsheets kept on slipping allowing direct contact between face and blanket, I am sure blankets are not washed daily.

Renai Kappad Beach resort is located very close to the beach where everyone can relax and enjoy the sunset. Very neat and clean property and well behaved staff. Swimming pool is beautifully maintained and both elders and kids can enjoy. Premium category of rooms are the best among all rooms. Would love to visit again as its a great property and also the name of Kappad has written in history books. Vasco Da Gama arrived in Kappad.

Renai Kappad is a good choice for a short vacation for those who plan to travel to North kerala. It is just beside the beach. The beach is only a very narrow strip, but the view is great, staff very cordial, safe for families, nice swimming pool with baby pool. Some indoor and outdoor activities add to the stay. Health club and spa not up to the mark. Great food and reasonable charges. Got an upgrade to a premium room.

Me and my wife stayed there to enjoy some lone time for our own in our busy schedule. The view wasn't so spectacular but they had many activities that we could try. The rooms air conditioning was efficient but it was okay. The room was spacious and was very neat and clean. The food will be a bit costly for normal travelers, but we were okay with it. Anyways will give it a good rating.

The room was adequate for 3 people. They maintained cleanliness and hygiene. The food offered by their restaurant is extremely tasty and authentic keralite cuisines were served. The staff behaviour is cordial and professional. Better not to book ground floor rooms as they provide restricted beach view. The property is adjacent to the beach so one can take a walk too. No

Value for money and peaceful atmosphere

On the beach, could not have been more closer. Food was good. Views of the sea, foam, fishing, rocks, and waves, as seen from the rooms are excellent and soothing to the eye. If the pool must is serviced regularly, it will be the topmost beach resort in this district!

Had a pleasant stay. Would definitely come back again for the serene seaside experience. Highly recommended as a Weekend getaway.

Restaurant is on first floor and old people can't go up and not neat. Food is good and service is good.

Reaching Resort is a little difficult if you don't have your own vehicle. Night roaming at beach is not advisable with family, as drunken people roaming there. Apart from that all other things are excellent, nice sea view room, hospitality of staff, facilities of resort, food.

Very good stay, even the people in the property are dam good very had very nice stay

It was a wonderful experience but the food was too expensive and terrible. Room and other facilities are very good but the service was very ordinary. Phone line was not working when we checked-in and it got replaced with another damaged one. Serving food in the room will cost again 20% of the bill amount. Over-whole not bad, but not good too.

Great location and very clean and neat rooms. Room service was very prompt and very pleasing staff. However, only issue was with the their travel desk who provided taxi and when we saw the bill, it was double the price which he committed verbally before hiring.

Great experience, a beach facing room, super service. The Renai Kappad Beach Resort managed a cab at 4 am when I left for the Airport. I don't mind another visit.

Over all its a good experience. Staff behaviours are good enough and also good service. Property location and balcony view is amazing. Blanket and bedsheets are poor quality and not good as expected. Thank you. Not more. Thanks for the good time.
