Resort Borgos

The moment we drove into we were made special. A bell boy was there to receive, took our luggage and waited at the reception, the front desk staff was very polite and welcoming it took 1 min for the paper work, a welcome drink was offered, we we're shown to our room at the kohora annexe, on the way we were shown where the spa, pool and other amenities were, room was lovely balcony with trees all around, a small but functional bath with a tub, spacious corridors, house keeping could have given usain bolt a run for his money, lovely food, very nice pool surrounded by greenery and child friendly, a sprawling area for a walk amid-st lovely manicured plants and every staff had a smile. The breakfast was well catered and thought for spread. A lovely experience all together.

Resort Borgos has everything that you look for in a resort at a sniffing distance from a Wild life Sanctuary. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The restaurant and the attached bar offer delicious food and liquor for the connoisseurs. The Cultural program in the evening showcasing local dances in the backdrop of a sizzling Bonfire are superb add-ons which will leave you rejuvenated after the Wild life safaris. The service is top class and resort can organise all kinds of Safaris. A special mention is here for Mr.Eric who goes extra miles to make you comfortable. We had a group trip with 3 friends and we enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Would highly recommend travellers to enjoy the hospitality and green ambience of Resort Borgos.

Our stay was overall a nice experience. The agoratoli suite room was exactly how it was shown in the pictures. The view was also very beautiful. The restaurants, the pool, the jacuzzi, and the overall ambience was flawless. However, coming to the basic amenities in the room, unfortunately, some of the services were missing. For example, there was no minibar, no hair dryer, no coffee/tea maker (although there was an electric kettle and coffee/tea sachets, no microwave, and even the tv was not working when we checked in, although it was fixed later. The room service (restaurant) staff can do better by being a little polite though. Our overall experience in borgos resort was delightful and we would like to go back some day again.

Our experience at borgos was very good. Starting from the checkin, erik - the manager was very helpful. He accommodated our special request. And also arranged jeep safari trips in the central zone. Because of which we spotted tigers in the afternoon in the central zone. Room service was quick. All the stawas very helpful. Only negative point was the hot water. Once the heater runs out, it will take 10-25 mins to get hot water. The location is really good because the central zone is 500 metres away. Restaurant food was good and catered to our vegetarian diet. Also enjoyed cultural program and bihu dance at the property. Overall a memorable experience at borgos and kaziranga.

The place is beautiful, extravagant and luxurious. The room is not so great but it had all the necessities like a balcony, ac, mini bar, locker, wardrobe, bath tab, geyser etc etc. We had dinner at kharoli assamese restaurant and to be honest the thali was not good. The thali is highly priced, offers too many items and lacks taste but presentation wise its top notch. Breakfast was good. Amazing buffet breakfast in the multi cuisine restaurant which included fruits, breads, chole, roti, egg, poha, idli, dosa and many other offerings. Overall i will rate the stay 5/5. The food taste is the only thing i think they can improve on.

The location was as good as it could be, right on the way to the kohora entry gate. Borgos was a sprawling property with its own ambience once you drove through its ornate gates. The grand staircase and main lobby deserve special mention. The corridors and walkways are tastefully lined with green, but making your way to your room did become a bit of a stretch for seniors like us. We had a couple of great ethnic meals at the speciality restaurant. The staff were well trained, courteous and helpful, with a smile. We will certainly look no further whenever we have an opportunity to revisit kaziranga

Bourgas is a premium resort which is close to orchid park and the entrance for the jungle safari. The rooms are very spacious and the facilities are excellent. The food at the Resort Borgos was great too. Mr. Ajit in the restaurant took care of all our needs and was very helpful. The Resort Borgos staff arranged a jeep for us for the jungle safari. However, the reception staff have very poor knowledge of the timings or documents required for the jungle safari. They did not mention to us the need to leave early as there will be long queues at the entrance and the need for aadhar card to register.

The stay is very comfortable at the place. It has amenities which are quite decently maintained. The food requires a little variety though. The standard food though nice has to be improved further. Their assamese cuisine restaurant is nice. The swimming pool and spa facilities are moderate. The sporting facilities at this place requires a major revamp though. The facilities are just there as just a show piece since the pool room was observed locked and there were no table tennis balls also. Overall the place is recommendable and has a nice touch of culture attached to it.

Stay was very comfortable but thing is buffet time was 0730 to 1030 but few items were found either empty or closed before 1030.

The ambience was excellent. And service of the staff very good

It's a very big property. Superb hospitality and good location. Staff is also good. They serve good jain food as well.

My family(4 members) went to stay in borgos and the overall experience was good. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. The resort is at a location covered by greeneries which makes it different from the rest. Reservation for jeep and elephant safari was taken care of by them on our request.

Went to kaziranga for a family outing after a long time. This time it was excellent because of the weather, the roads, and especially the resort borgos. We have travel-led in many parts of the world but this place was different and unique because of the plants & trees all over. The rooms were very good and the food was awesome.

Resort is excellent to stay. Very beautiful. But food is costly. Staff are polite and helpful. Cleanliness well maintained.

Nice property with easy access to central zone kaziranga staff pallavi dais at entrance is very lucky for sighting tiger. If he says goid luck. You will get to see tiger

Great stay on all fronts. Lovely room with a great view and balcony. Excellent food with good variety. Very good breakfast spread. Very efficient and helpful staff. Great stay overall.

It was really a pleasant stay with quality food, cultural events, bonfire and fantastic atmosphere. The breakfast served is extraordinary. Display of traditional dishes, culture are planned in an attractive way

I would recommend this Resort Borgos for staying in kaziranga. It’s very near to kohora safari. Rooms are big, cozy and clean. Food quality and their over all hospitality is excellent. Service is very prompt. Staffs are polite and cooperative. Over all we had an excellent experience while staying there. They have also booked jeep and elephant safari for us on prior request.

Best in all segments. Location ambiance food staff everything pleased me 5star. Room service very fast. Price according to the service is very reasonable.
