Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa

The reason rate it 3. 5/5 is because of the following- room size- very good. Comes with a nice balcony as well. Room amenities- except the mini cooler, rest everything was good. The mini cooler never worked. I complained about it but nothing happened. Given the heat outside, at the bare minimum we needed was cold water which we couldn't get. Cleanliness- room and restaurant area - very good. No complaints. Swimming pool area was not that clean. Inf-act quite a few times we saw clothes floating in the swimming pool for hours. Food & beverage - here's our biggest issue. The Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa runs its f&b services just like a military school hostel. All 3 meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner items are available strictly within the given time only. Even if you are late by 5 minutes, you'll not be allowed to order from the menu. Like in our case, we dialed the room service at 3:05 pm to order food from the lunch menu. We were told that we cannot order as lunch time got over at 3 pm and neither can we order from the dinner menu. We can only order from the 3 to 7 pm menu. We were surprised to see that they were so headstrong about these meal timings. The same happened with a family who were living next to us. They asked for dinner a little after 10:30 pm and were denied dinner and said the restaurant was closed at 10:30 pm. Now this is just the timings, now come to the food options. The Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa has next to nil goan cuisine options. I was surprised when i had to spell out vindaloo to the person who responded to the room service call, only to know that vindaloo is not possible. The only thing goan in their menu is the xacuti and fish curry, which frankly speaking is not one of the good ones that we have had in goa. It was not bad though, it was okayish. What we found that their menu is mostly north indian and when we ordered from that selection, the food quality and taste was good. So to sum it up - if you are here, recommendation is to order from the north indian selection. Keep in mind the meal timings strictly. And for goan cuisine, you must step out and have it there. Lot of options available within walking distance. Swimming pool: the pool is very small. It is good if you just want to take a dip. Staff behaviour: extremely polite and their service tat is very good.

It’s was a good stay. Below are my observations- Good Part - 1) Located on the main Candolim road, very convenient to find the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa and you will find all good restaurants and shops at a walking distance. 2) Very hygienic 3) Value for money property- even in season time, the price offered bu the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa was much affordable than other nearby Resort The Lohias Candolim Goas (Thanks to MMT special discounted rates) 4) Need not to go anywhere for renting scooty, it’s in the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa campus only (but not authorised by the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa). 5) Reach Candolim beach calangute beach in just 3 min walk. BAD PART - Canteen staff need learn etiquette to talk to guest specially ladies. A canteen guy stopped my wife while she was taking fruit plate for my 3 yr old daughter to the room, he said it’s not allowed to take brkfast to the room. There was argument happened in the canteen and she left the plate at the counter and left. Very shameful thing done by the canteen staff. Also he said that payment for kids breakfast is not mentioned in the check list. :D I think they have adjusted some random street guy to serve in the canteen in cover up the staff shortage. At last … 90% marks for the stay, 10% only for restaurant food and staff .

I stayed for 3 nights in the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa with family. Rooms are good, nice staff and service. Food quality needs to be improved. We had breakfast for 3 days and it didn't meet the expectation. We can find good Resort The Lohias Candolim Goas outside. Overall it was good stay in lohias. Important: if you are planning to hire a self driven car, don't get it from the one which is available in ground floor of the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa. I took a car and the person told there won't be charges for petrol while giving the car. I drove hardly 80 kms and when returning the car, other person came to receive the car he demanded 800 rupees extra for petrol which was never discussed. So beware of these guys. If you are planning to get a car, go for a reputed one and not with these guys.

Resort the lohias offers good hospitality and overall services in candolim, goa. It has some beautiful views and ambiance from the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa. The food is also amazing. With all the amenities including parking, friendly staff, neat rooms, swimming pool and good food, lohias is a great place to checkin in goa. The only disappointment was that the room floor gets wet and doesn’t dries up until the air conditioner temperature is set to 16 degrees. It can be due to the rainy season but the staff must look into it. Overall a great place to stay!

We, a family of four, had been at goa from 16th of march to 21st. The experience at the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa was far better. There was personal care and affection. Front desk, f&b and housekeeping were manned by people with kind heart and so they excelled. Clean rooms, delicious dishes, timely response with smile and responsibility and located at an awesome location made our stay a beautiful experience. A beautiful thing i noticed here is that, every staff is happy with the management. A big shoutout for that. Thanks and regards.

I was staying at this place several times now i was there for 5 days everything is good but if we are paying 7-8k for a day it’s means you have to provide 4-5 star service but restaurants breakfast staff was very rude. I asked for tea they were life it’s self service and he was standing free. If person is eating it’s your responsibility to provide good service but they were very rude. No doubt Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff was also good but don’t go for breakfast

Stay is very satisfying and location of resort is prime so it make stay pleasure food and breakfast is tasty and all the quality of food is home familiar room service is good house keeping is excellent and they clean rooms daily and provide all fresh accessories daily security staff is dedicated and responsible reception staff is well behaviourel there is some bitter thing need to improve gym must be improved gym is not setteld according properly resort need one more lift all load on a single lift

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa. Everything about the Resort The Lohias Candolim Goa was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.

The property is well located and very near to candolim beach and baga beach. Has parking space as well. Staff is very well behaved and supportive. Things that can be improved are 1. Reception handling by more professional person. 2. Valet parking
