Dear Mam, Unexpected rain that started in the month of May has not yet stopped except 1 or 2 days in August. Continuous rain of around 120 inches just in 90 days has resulted in lot of inconvenience for everyone in kodagu. In 2 months, almost 28 days Schools & Colleges were closed. Many villages faced electricity failure for more than 7 days. Specially this year, the rain was accompanied by heavy winds and severe cold. However best efforts are made to maintain the property and small inconveniences being happened which we do agree. Though lime powder & bleaching powder are being used to stop the slippery on the Road,mad rain washes away all the materials. Still our efforts are continued to see that Guests are comfortable. The estate was amazing, but the service fell short. While they do offer breakfast, there is no proper follow-up, and by the time you arrive, it’s already gone. Management needs to be proactive in ensuring about the guests

Dear Sir, Regarding your remarks on breakfast , i enquired with the concerned and i was told that you had gone to Mandalpatti and returned by 11 am. Though the breakfast time is 8.30 to 10 , one main item was served by the Manager . As spoken to you , i do agree that proper follow up should be there before closing the breakfast. The stay was comfortable. Staff very cordial and helpful. It is in the midst of a coffee estate with good ambience.

Stay was fine, but tv was not good also food was ok
coupleThe stay and the estate was good, but i feel not worth what we paid, we paid 5k+ but there was no proper tv that was working and very limited channels. Usually such expensive places will have a smart tv. Food was fine, but non veg should have been included in lunch/dinner they took extra for non veg starters and in veg also no starters were there for dinner

Dear Tripthi ji, I restrain from commenting on the price as i am not aware how much you paid. Your suggestion on TV channels will be taken care of. We charge just Rs 175- for veg dinner which includes Pulka , Sabji , Dal , flavoured rice , White Rice , Rasam , Sambar , Curd , Papad , Pickle and Sweet that too unlimited. I am sure you will agree now that Nonveg Dinner for Rs 175- cannot be proivided by anybody. Also we wish to bring to your notice that during the Booking process itself , it will be clearly mentioned that the food is Veg and Nonveg is extra. Thank you for being our guest.

i recently stayed at abbydhama estate, and i can confidently say it was one of the best vacation experiences i've had. from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome throughout our stay. the resort itself is absolutely stunning, with lush landscapes and breathtaking views that make it a true paradise. our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, plus a few extra touches that made it feel luxurious. the dining options were fantastic – each meal was delicious, and the variety of choices catered to all tastes. we especially enjoyed the seafood at rassam and payasam, which was fresh and flavorful. there’s no shortage of things to do, either. whether you prefer relaxing by the pool. i highly recommend abbydhama estate for anyone looking for a relaxing yet adventurous getaway. we’re already planning our next visit!

Best Homestay in Madiker
coupleBeautiful Place to stay amidst nature and coffee estate. You can see flowers, fruits, and coffee plants everywhere inside the estate premises. You can hear birds, insects and frogs every evening and early morning without any external noise. Felt like staying in a jungle. The rooms were neat and clean with all basic amenities like a kettle, geyser, mosquito repellent etc. A.C is also available with 500rs extra charges. Food was average with a homely taste from the south. But being a homestay you can't expect restaurant-like services. Overall the Best stay option in Madikeri which you won't regret at all at this price. Book it blindly and enjoy nature stay from room balcony or the the swimming pool😋

Calm and scenic
familyI recently stayed at this estate and i liked my stay it was quite relaxing. You should not go here for activities rather go for relaxing stay with good food and enjoy the scenic views from your room. Surrounded by lush green trees this place offers some nice views especially from the swimming pool area. The pool looks like an infinity pool merging into the forest from heights. Coming to food it was quite simple but very delicious, i loved the fact that veg and non veg food are served at different places even the vessels used for the two foods are different, being a pure vegetarian person i know the value of it which is very rarely seen in tourist places. Staff here are courteous and helpful, mr. Kishore was very friendly and guided us well throughout our stay. I didn't find any safety issues with the place. Rooms were clean and decently maintained, nothing to complain about. Lastly, i would request the owners to add more activities so that one can stay for longer periods and have multiple things to do otherwise good food and swimming pool will be done in a day. To the one who visit places like these, please keep the beauty of nature intact by keeping it clean. Nature is important and we are just part of it and not the owners of it.

Very bad experience
groupBeing a jungle resort, property was not at all maintained (too many insects in the corridors and rooms. The pool was not at all clean, it was dangerous to swim in that kind of water. Their total focus is on selling their kitchen food which was pathetic. Do not opt for breakfast or lunch.

Place is good well maintained and hygenic. Good place for family. Hosts are good. Food is good as well. But felt little expensive for what it’s. Food is expensive as well. 5 pieces onion and 3 slices of lemon called as salad to be ordered extra costs 60 rs. The buffet that included in the package doesnt include non veg which is disappointing. Non veg has to be ordered extra and again food tastes good but little expensive. Overall i recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

We charge just Rs175 for veg buffet which includes pulka, sabji, dal,flavoured rice, white rice, rasam, rasam , curd, papad, pickle and sweet. It's also mentioned in OTAs that it's veg meals added in the package if guests prefer MAP. Thank you for being our guest.
A not maintained property registered as villi
The property is registered as villa but its is a hotel with rooms. The property was not well maintained with broken furniture dirty rooms. Restrictions like outside food. The pool is actually a small treck away from property with no support around the pool. The food is nice.

Dear Mr. Rasu, I am sorry , we have not registered our Property as Villa in Go - MMT. In the description it is clearly mentioned as rooms with restriction on outside food. Screenshot is sent to your email as we are unable to upload here. Swimming pool is an additional facility in an Estate Home Stay and clear board is installed stating that it is the responsibility of the guest to take care. Your complaint on furniture and room is noted down seriously for corrections if any. Thank you
