My recent stay at Alt Life Hotel was quite disappointing overall. While the hotel has potential due to its scenic location, the experience fell short in several important areas. To start with the positives — the food served at the hotel was genuinely good, both in taste and quality. The staff at the café seemed polite, and the dining experience was probably the best part of the stay. However, when it comes to accommodation and service, things were far from satisfactory. The dorms and rooms were much smaller than expected, leaving very little space to move around or keep luggage comfortably. Basic cleanliness was also an issue — no one came to clean the rooms or washrooms during our stay, which made it quite inconvenient. The washrooms lacked even basic amenities like a bucket, which should have been available in any standard room. Another major disappointment was the booking issue. We accidentally booked six tickets instead of four, but despite contacting both the hotel and MakeMyTrip, no refund or adjustment was made, which felt unfair and unprofessional. The safety standards were average, but the hotel’s location at the very top of the hill made accessibility a real challenge, requiring long walks uphill. Overall, not a pleasant experience and not worth the price.

Absolutely loved my stay! The hotel's ambiance was top-notch, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. But the real highlight was the FOOD - oh my, the flavors were incredible! Each dish was a masterpiece. If you're looking for a great place to stay and eat, look no further!

Charming stay in Dharamkot with perfect weather - cool and breezy all day. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Loved the clean rooms, cozy vibe, and fast Wi-Fi. The work setup was solid too - quiet spaces and good lighting. Great mix of comfort and functionality for anyone working remotely or just unwinding.

The place is perfect for weekend getaway, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Very pleasant and has perfect location

Reaching the hotel was miserable. It is located at the top. The ambience was excellent with good food and live music.

As location is good but amenities &services are not upto the mark, rooms are not clean properly, regular long power cut, so many follow up for room order. So overall this property is not suitable for families.

Excellent views... Nice rooms .. Dharamkot is a village near Mcleodganj having some cafés near this property...

good hospitality good location and excellent food

The best thing about this property is really great food (Akshay sir is really awesome chef who can get you the cuisines based on your choices) and staff (Abinash, Nanak, Sanjay and everyone). Very convenient location for many places to explore such as Cafes and Dharamkot Market. I would love to visit again and hopefully every year 😇

This is superb stay all the time with very peaceful surroundings and greatest staff specifically nanak, sanjay, avinash and akshay with great food options to choose from.

I had stayed there for two days ans there was no electricity and no access to wifi. There was no resolution provided by the staff.
