Alt Life - Dharamkot | Rooms & Dorms

We had booked a night's stay in alt life for a day trip to mclodegunj. I guess its safe to say, it's one of those hostel stays in mclodegunj where the view and surrounding is way way better than the tourist spots. Surrounded on all sides with soul soothing scenarios, it is even close to most tourist attractions. Dal lake, naddi point, dalai lama temple, prayer point and bhagsu nag waterfall are all about 3-4 kms from the hostel. The staff is humble, welcoming and oh so courteous. Bonus points for the food, finger licking and pocket friendly at the same time. If you are looking for a self drive two wheeler or taxis, you can always get the contacts to those from the hostel itself. In short, one such rare place which makes you want to want to come back soon. Hands down, our favorite new go to place for sure. Many many thanks to the staff for making this, a memory of a lifetime for us. )

First day as we were tired, thought this is very far away. However, after spending the first few hours we all agreed that we can not find a better Alt Life - Dharamkot | Rooms & Dorms than this to stay. Really budget-friendly and so many cozy rooms. Food was very tasty and was more suitable for our budget, opposite to what we expected. I am surely going to visit again and definitely take the room in this Alt Life - Dharamkot | Rooms & Dorms (I am sure of it). Further Bunty bhai there made such amazing latte and Akshita at the front desk was very helpful. I would suggest everyone try them for sure. Hostel staff, however, need to take care of spider webs which were the only thing we noticed that we didn't like.

The place was really really nice. Great view. The food was excellent. Try anything and it was good. Akshit was a great host; very helpful and sweet. The staff was really amazing.The weekend evenings were so happening. There was live music and food and the bands are absolutely amazing as well. And most importantly the rooms, we booked a super deluxe room and it was so damn cozy. It was really difficult to pull ourselves out of the bed. So difficult that we extended our stay and almost cancelled going to our next destination (We did somehow go though. really tough decision to make😛). The comfort ❤️🙌🏼

I was in the starting not really impressed with the place however i stayed there for 6 days and then i realised it was great place, great service they had offered. There location is amazing, staff is fun, rooms are clean and good for wfh. Food is good but little expensive. Vibe there was really friendly and refreshing. Must to visit for solo traveller and if you are a girl then stay here you would enjoy the stay

Nice location but it was quite difficult for me to found the location. The caretaker of the property was welcoming and other staffs were very helpful and well behaved. I've tried food over there and that was delicious, especially in quality. Room and facilities were up to the mark, everything was perfect. Totally Worth for money. Must recommended to others.

My stay was very good in this property. It was a couple trip and the location was mesmerizing. The facilities were good and the room was comfortable. There was a Valley view from the room. The owner was very helpful. I had food during my stay and it was great. A must recommended property to others.

Situated in the lap of nature away from the chaos. The hospitality is amazing. Great staff. The bhaiya at the reception is really helpful and sweet. Rooms were clean and cozy. Great and tasty food. Live music performance was cheering. Would definitely recommend to stay here ♥️

Rooms/dorms are great, cafe is amazing and food is good. Besides, their staff is extremely helpful and is ready to take care of your issues all the time. Ajay, the guy in charge helped me a lot and I also saw him helping other guests quite a few times as well.

Great location with great hospitality

Alt life stood up to the our expectations after reading their reviews online. Our room was clean, spacious with all basic amenities & biggest plus was their delicious & value for money food. I would definitely suggest alt life to anyone visiting dharamkot.

Good for solo trips, you will find lot of good people here. If there was a common meet-up area or games area then it would have been even better.

The place is very well maintained along with clean rooms. The rooms offer great views of the mountain. The food is also really great. This is one of the best properties of dharamkot.

Room price is decent but have to spend some extra bugs for food.

So we stayed here for 3 days and the staff was very hospitable. They were friendly and guided us and accommodated every request.

The hospitality and the staff was great

Food served was awesome. The taste was very good. Staff were cooperative. The room given was clean and well-maintained. Got all the facilities as per the amount paid. Surely recommended.
