I recently made a reservation for a couple’s stay at Anant Palace, with breakfast and dinner included. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
While the food itself may have been decent, there was no buffet option provided. Although we were willing to overlook that, what was more concerning was the lack of a fixed menu for in-house guests. Instead, a staff member would verbally list a few random options, making it difficult to decide on meals. This approach felt disorganized and unprofessional.
To add to the disappointment, we found hair in the food that was served. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, we were simply offered a replacement dish. While we understand that mistakes can happen, basic food safety and cleanliness should never be compromised.
Another concerning issue was the lack of coordination and awareness from the staff. They did not seem to know which guests were staying in which rooms or what meal plans were included with our booking. They never asked for clarification either, which only highlighted the lack of proper hospitality and communication.
We were genuinely looking forward to a pleasant stay, but the poor service and dining experience left us very disappointed. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work toward improving your hospitality standards, guest coordination, and food hygiene protocols.
