Review Of Arcadia Heritage Resort

The hotel was very uncooperative, they did not provide us with the breakfast buffet which we had already paid for, which is understandable since the occupancy was low, but we were also not given the option to have to choose from their a la carte breakfast menu, they gave us a small homestay style menu to order breakfast from which was very limited. The senior manager initially said that they will give us the a la carte menu option when we talked about it but then when he was not there the staff refused and on call the manager also refused. There was issues with a lot of spider webs all around the hotel. The properly is located on a bit off an offroad tough to climb The food is not good, we had already paid for rhe breakfast but they didn’t give us the buffet, which was still understandable as they claimed low occupancy but then they gave is a very small home stay style menu with like very few options, to order from and said that they would not provide us their regular a la carte brealfast menu. The senior person managing agreed to provide us the a la carte breakfast menu from when we had a long discussion. But then when he was not there the staff refused they took him on call and he refused as well. Then half an hour later they said yes we can make it but its paid. Which they could have mentioned before as there was no issues in paying but all the back and forth they did. They claim to be running a resort but running it like a homestay. The food they were providing for the breakfast was also not good in taste

The rooms and view was nice. Few problems I would list - 1. if it is a 7 seater vehicle the entrance to the resort is little difficult. 2. Room service should be improved - bathroom exhaust fan did not work, reported but they did not fix in my 2 days stay.

Excellent views Wonderful meals Cordial Staff But must have medical emergency and immediate medicine on call

In respect of Arcadia Heritage Resort Review of Ashim Majumdar (Self) Dr. Suparna Majumdar (Wife) & Dr. Suchandra Guha (Sister-in-law) are as follows:- 1) Food quality is Good. But it could be sameway enjoyable while taken late at Room in presence of Microoven inside the Room. As such any smallest model of Microoven is specially proposed inside any high quality Room as allotted to us. 2) Location is more or less Good while the approach road is not at all Long from Hill Cart Road but not so smooth because of its much steep upward slope. 3) All other facilities are Good, while the behaviour of all the Staff (specially including Anandi at Management) appeared as excellent.

There are two words to describe " Simply awesome." I stayed for two days at Sterling and one day in this resort but the entire feeling of staying here for a night made me forget about Sterling Darjeeling. Special mention to Mrs. Anandi for being a great hostess and her sweet hand made tea.

The Arcadia resort was very beautiful, calm and serene on top where you can have a breathtaking view of hills and valley. We stayed in room no. 106, family room and it was just excellent and comfortable.

Very beautiful property although heritage style but very well maintained. Food was also awesome specially hand made pizza. Breakfast spread variety was not a lot but included local dishes and was tasty. Rooms are extremely well maintained and view from room is great. Its pleasure to hear and see the darjeeling train from the hotel balcony. Hotel provides bed heating and all other basic amenities. Overall awesome stay and would love to visit again

Nice big rooms with excellent view of the valley and Kanchenjunga. Share taxi available for Mall commute. Inside parking is good. Climb is bit steep so please check if travelling with old aged members. Food quality and other services very good

Beautiful hotel . clean rooms. nice foods. lovly view from room. It has everything that you want in your trip to Darjeeling.

Greater hospitality, staff behaviour very very supportive. I must prefer this hotel whenever i will visit darjeeling.

Stayed here for two days during our darjeeling trip. The rooms were quite large & people were courteous. There is excellent view of kachanjungha from the personal veranda of the hotel room. However the hotel is outskirt of the main town. It become difficult to return to the hotel from mall road/town centre as public transports are available only till 8. 30 pm in the week days.

The location of the hotel was good and peaceful. We could see the view of the himalayan mountain range very clearly, especially kanchenjunga. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The service has been outstanding. The food was decent but kinda disappointing on one occasion. Overall, it is an excellent and beautiful place to stay if visiting darjeeling. I highly recommend it.

Everything is good during the stay. Except the location is at little height, where in luggage moves through vehicle, all others are perfect. All other aspects such as hospitality, food and serving pattern including guidance e to local destinations, is an amazing and wonderful experience.

Stunning property, with beautiful backdrop of mountains. Food was amazing. Had a great time there. Would recommend

The stay in arcadia resort was pleasant. The only challenge was that there was no electricity for a long time during late night

The stay way very very good. 1. Very big room. 2. Walking distance from batasiya and even dhoom ( if you walk more. 3. Efficient staff( specially ' amit. 4. Very good breakfast. Only problems is, the hotel reception comes after covering a very steep road and sometimes difficult for car to reach specially while raining. May be it's common in hilly areas.

While the accommodation and food are excellent, house keeping is somewhat below the mark. Could do with clean towels, additional sanitary items and laundry service. Overall 4 star
