stayed in barefoot for 4 days and had booked nicobari cottage. the resort is beautiful and is 100 metres walk away from a section of radhanagar beach which is less crowded. the cottage was spacious and clean. we found a couple of spiders and small gekkos in the room which is common given you are staying in midst of a jungle. staff is courteous and always ready to help with smile on their face. they had decorated our room and offered a complimentary cake for our anniversary. i had booked scuba & tidal walk through them which was fanatastic and must try. tidal walk organized by the naturalists at the resort is very informative and gives different perspective about the marine life. recommend it as it can be done with kids and older ppl who otherwise cant do scuba or snorkelling. had also booked renewal of vows package with them which was totally worth it given the setup they had done at the beach side. you can book a photographer to capture your special moments. the food and drinks seved at restaurant & bar is good though a tad bit expensive. breakfast option was limited but tasty. beach towels are provided and lal chai served during the evening time adds to the amazing sunset experience. dont forget to visit the beach at night (someone from the resort will assist you. overall our experience was fantastic and worth every penny spent.

It’s absolutely pristine place with lots of trees and access to a beautiful beach with amazing marine life. Staff is amazing and enjoyed the cocktails and food range. Rooms are well spaced to give privacy. Activities in n the resort like - inter-tidal walk and scuba diving are very good. Even beginners are good.

Barefoot justifies its title, total nature retreat with minimal technology for people who want to enjoy nature and get away from technology. Beach is nearby and beautiful, food at their swimming elephant is great, always prepared from scratch. Staff are so helpful and humble. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting havelock.

1)location: i loved the location of this property, as it was a 2 minute walk from radhanagar beach (voted one of the best in asia. It is also just 2. 5 kms away from the start of the elephant beach trekking point; and just 5 - 7 minutes walk to the public bus stop. (it is about a 15- 20 minute drive from the jetty) 2) environment: very nice forest vibe as the resort has taken care to maintain the flora and fauna in the area, and tried to retain as much of a jungle vibe as possible, along with all the modern amenities, to make your stay comfortable. 3) very clean: the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with fresh sheets, fresh towels, etc. The shower area in my room had a sunroof, which was a bonus. 5) staff: the staff were very helpful and paid attention to detail. Sandeep at the front desk was especially welcoming and guided me about the resort. He gave me a lovely surprise at the time of check in and ensured that i have very pleasant stay. 6) activities: there is a nice bar and some live music in the evening, which makes things very relaxed. The resort also organises other activities like tree walks, night walks, etc which guests can enjoy.

Great hotel, good food, courteous staff. Located midst of dense trees, able to hear bees, birds chirping, walkable to beach which is clean and neat. Worth staying here with family - a word of caution network only in select locations, no tv, ensure to carry medicine especially to avoid any insect bite.

Stay at barefoot is a memory of a lifetime! one barely comes across such a well managed experience, tucked right next to the radhanagar beach and neil’s cove the stay here was very rejuvenating and relaxing. The property is located in the midst of nature with trees and animals around you. The cottages are naturally made with wood and leaves. The beach is just 10 mins away and is very private. The restaurant provides tasty dishes of both local and international varieties. You should definitely try the nature walk or the night walk with their resident naturalist. We had a lovely stay. Lastly, the staff was very helpful and cooperative.

The place is very perfectly located and has its own private beach, the staff is super sweet and attentive, the rooms are neat and well appointed. Had some navigation issues within the hotel as wr travel-led with senior parents and an infant but the staff extended as much support as possible and took my feedback very positively. If i go again to havelock, i don't think i'll think twice about where to stay.

This is our second time at barefoot. The beach is just great to play, body-board and even just for walking. The restaurant makes some of the best dishes and the staff are always there to go the extra mile. The entire staff including the front office folks ensure you have a great vacation. The property offers some of the best bird watching experiences with so many endemic birds that can be spotted easily. Night skies in the beach are equally great with milkyway on clear nights. Special appreciation for thimmiah at front desk, suresh in the restaurant. Also, great appreciation for the naturalist prathamesh for all the nature sessions, they were totally worth it.
