Place is at quiet location but still at a walking distance to main market and ward's lake. Very good for solo travelers. Breakfast was good as well.

Location is average. Rooms are small but comfortable. Wifi speed inside room is a bit inferior. You have to pay extra for using cooking gas as per house rules. Caretaker is very helpful. Host is good.

The host was extremely kind and helpful. It’s located in a good spot, just a little difficult to spot initially since the name board is a little small. Service and staff was wonderful. Overall it was a really good experience.

The land lady is very much talkative and friendly. There is a kitchen inside, where anyone can make food or tea or tiffin. Breakfast is awesome. All most all facilities are there. Low budgeted homestay.

It was a very good experience. The rooms were pretty good and clean to stay. Facilities were all as promised. The location was also fine, but it was in a little bit of an interior area. The owner of the property was kind and very helpful.

Never thought Shillong will give us the best retreat till date! The hospitality of a 70 years old lady. The owner of that very place make me spellbound! She took care of us like a mother does!

The lady is very good. She is a local and might as well help you out with your stay at Sohra. The breakfast served is basic and very nice.
