Review Of Blue River Hostel | Rooms & Dorms

I heard about Backpackers hostel and after searching in make my trip app ,i found it.I called to the hostel to confirm the location and property and they treated us very well.Our group is fully satisfied with this hostel .Very polite and gentle behaviour we got in the hotel.My trip was very smooth after getting this hostel.Budget friendly,near and clean hostel with amazing behaviour of the staffs.

Stinky walls. Leach on bed. Dirty toilets. No curtains for dorm beds.

The rooms were just decent. Hot water was available and the AC worked, and the good things end over there. Let me tell you what went wrong. First of all the bed covers looked as if they were reused. I found this late at night after I had checked in as I was too tired to see the room properly. The Wifi never worked as they had promised at least for my floor. The room had a constant bad smell, and it was stinking of dirty socks., the staff did try to put some air freshener, but it just made the smell worse. There was some painting which is going on which added to the odour issues. The toilet seat was broken and was not clear properly.. the coffee cups were stained and chipped, and I had to wash thoroughly before using it.

Property was very inside and road infront of the property is narrow. No landline phone for order food and when we called on number the employee disconnected the phone and no call back.

The overall experience was average. The staff was rude and so un-cooperative. In terms of room service, you can not expect anything from them, if you will ask then they will simply deny. Rooms were for survival only. Washroom was average.

Considering the overall trip, it proved great decision to have stay at Blue river hostel.

Hotel was at very nice location in tapowan. The staff was nice and welcoming. Food of the roof top cafe was also descent. Place is safe and secure. Overall the stay was descent.

it was a nice stay at Tapovan ,Rishikesh, most of the markets and especially Lakshman Jhula is nearby. Njoied sty with family

It was a great experience and it is on the tapovan side of rishikesh so you can walk to almost all the best cafe. The staff was so good and helpful too.

I stayed at blue river hotel in rishikesh in a 4-bed female dormitory. I booked three beds, and apart from the three of us, no one else was there. The room was clean and well-maintained. Hot water was available. Each bed had a charging point, a fan, and a separate light. There was also space for luggage. The beds were comfortable. This was the most affordable dormitory i have booked to date.

It was a nice and comfortable stay i had in blue river hostel. The hostel is clean and tidy and the hospitality is very nice. I'll recommend this hostel for a cheap and comfortable stay
