Boho's Hotel

All i was looking for, was a good place to stay in in varkala while i enjoyed the beach and the food with some friends. So, i booked the boho. The room was modest, extremely clean, well done in terms of tidiness and interiors, and smelled good. The bathroom, usually an important matter for me, was designed extremely well and to my great delight was thoroughly clean. Perhaps, the one thing i'd suggest is putting up some hooks in that bathroom and having a squeegee to guide all that beach sand out after your bath. Apart from those minor inconveniences, i have absolutely no suggestions to give to this Boho's Hotel. So, well done. The caretaker of this place (a smart young man whose name now eludes me since i'm unforgivably late in writing this review in august for a vacation i had in june) was cheerful, jolly, quick on his feet, and armed with helpful tips, suggestions and solutions. So, all in all, a great place. Thank you so very much.

Wife and I were looking for a quiet 2 day vacation and we selected Varkala and when choosing for stay I was going through few Boho's Hotel and what strike d me about Boho was its unconventional setup. I must admit, the pictures were taken when the property was new and now it's aged but it still had a unique charm about it. We were greeted by Alik and his wife and were asked to wait before check in. They took us to the next door cafe True Thomas, and it was amazing place. The ingenuity of the place was its decor and food was also good. Our stay in the room was decent, ac and fan kept us chill. My recommendation would be to have a dressing mirror in the room that can help the guests. Overall it was a peaceful stay and with few renovation in wood work this place can beam again in its bohemian rhapsody!

We were there for one night. Booked 2 rooms. One for my parents and one for my family which included our 5 year old. Both rooms had comfy beds and air conditioning. Hot water wasn't working in one of the rooms. The staff Aditya and Raj are courteous and helpful. Rooms were neat and tidy. The rooms and furniture have a unique design. The bathrooms could have been a bit more functional. Getting to the Hotel was not too difficult. And its only walking distance to the Varkala cliff or Beach. There is car parking space for 1 vehicle. Breakfast is served at nearby in a Hotel. Very tasty English breakfast. Coffee was the highlight. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at Boho's on two different visits to Varkala. It's a beautiful Bohemian themed Boho's Hotel, which also has a restaurant named True Thomas beside it, which is a South Indian cuisine. There is a mini fridge, either a balcony or patio in most rooms. It's run by a Ukranian couple who also run another stay with continental restaurant named Inda. I could spend a whole day sitting at True Thomas. The staff there are very polite, helpful, friendly and smart. The caretaker boys Vishnu and Nikhil tries to make our stay as comfy as possible. Big shout out to my boy Salman, who always tries to make me feel at home.

Its a small place managed by a very nice and friendly person Aditya who was always available on phone. Its a small guest house sort of a place, 5 mins walk from the cliff. Ac room was OK but it did not have a TV, tea- coffee making facilities, phone. The place does not have a power back up, there was no electricity from 6-9 am and we had to suffer a bit for that. Bathroom was OK. They served a welcome drink and a very good set breakfast in an adjoining restaurant.

This is a definite place to be, it's very close to the actual cliff Side. Aji the Hotel care taker is very helpful and can help you out with your travel needs in Varkala. The Hotel is good and the staff are friendly. The cafe for the Hotel is decent but can use more variety in their menu. Also the complimentary breakfast served was excellent however it will be much appreciated if the breakfast was unlimited. Must try are the chicken a redo pasta and the pizzas.

Our stay at Boho's was an amazing experience. It's ideal for couples, the location is great as it is near the beach, there are no restrictions, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and cordial. The rooms were nice and clean, but since there is vegetation around, there can be a few ants and mosquitoes. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and I would definitely come back to this Boho's Hotel. Varkala is one of the most chill places I have been to yet.

Ajith is considerate and helpful. He makes sure you reach the place comfortably. The room was clean and tidy. I loved the minimalist interior design. Washroom was spotless and spacious. The room had a welcoming smell to it. The beach is a five minutes walk from the place and there are many shortcuts to further reduce the travel time. Their restaurant called Inda Cafe is an outdoor setting with an amazing playlist.

You could feel the Boho ness around you. A great location with best ambiance. People who are fond of clicking photos, get ready to have some awesome backdrops. Even the hosts and owner are great. You wont feel awkward or left out around them.

Nice places to eat nearby, view point nearby, good places, accommodations is nice as well, well maintained bathroom hygiene👍

This is a budget stay, good spacious rooms and bathrooms, simple aesthetic interiors, good food, near to Beach

The place had a really cool vibe and rooms were really clean. They also have a barbecue and the place is covered with plants and sitting area is also very nice

Very convenient location with cliff and beach barely at 5 minutes walking distance. Rooms have a rustic mud house theme. Adjoining True Thomas Cafe which offers wide variety of food and beverages. Staff are extremely helpful.

Pleasant stay, cheerful manager Aditya and really chill b&b, just a 5 minute walk away from the busy North cliff promenade. We had a lovely time at the Boho's Hotel and the breakfast at either cafes was brilliant as well. Definitely recommend it for a short or Long stay depending on the deal you get from MakeMyTrip.

It's a beautiful property, walking distance from the varkala cliff. The staff was very helpful and even arranged a cab back to trivandrum. The only thing that could be better is hygiene. I found some small insects on the bedsheet. I'm guessing that's an issue with the region but it could have been better.
