Food good, stay good, ambience excellent, service excellent, reachability is fine

We stayed at Camp River Wild Resort on 17–18 October, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The resort’s location near the Kosi River is stunning and adds a calm, peaceful vibe to the stay. The property is beautifully maintained and very spacious, surrounded by nature, which makes it a perfect getaway for relaxation. Our room was neat, clean, and beautifully designed with wooden interiors, giving it a warm and cozy feel. All the amenities were working perfectly, and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff was polite, well-mannered, and always ready to help, making sure we had everything we needed. Room service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and dinner, which had a good variety. We also loved the evening high tea with crispy pakoras, which added a homely touch. What made our stay even more special was the hospitality of the property owner, who was extremely humble, polite, and welcoming. You can truly feel the effort they put into making guests feel comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing stay filled with comfort, good food, and great hospitality. We would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this resort to everyone.

Had a great stay. The property is well structured with well spaced stilt cottages amidst jungle like surroundings with full privacy. Close yet at safe distance from the river bank.

seen was good but there were lots of termites and ants around the bed that were very irritating and spoiled our trip

Location was quite amazing specially as it was raining and that is a perfect time to be in Jim Corbett. Considering the time of the year and the place, I would rate the food quality to be above bar. I would like to call out the service which is provided by the team and available even at all hours. I would definitely like to recommend this to any other fellow travels and would definitely vouch for a comfortable memorable stay. Already done

Had a amazing stay at the resort. Excellent location as well as service. Perfect for family who wants to stay at an offbeat location away from chaos. Had a really good parking for personal vehicle. Food was simple but utterly delicious. Very rare stays would have these facilities. Overall excellent

Location: The resort is nestled in a very scenic spot, just a minute’s walk from the serene Kosi River. The surroundings are peaceful, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. Service: With only six cottages on the property, you can expect personalized attention—and the staff truly goes above and beyond. The service exceeded all our expectations, making us feel completely at home. Food: As a pure vegetarian, I was delighted by the food. The resort boasts one of the best cooks in the Jim Corbett region. A word of advice: stick to North Indian and authentic Pahadi dishes—they’re exceptional. Other cuisines are average in comparison. Safari Zones Accessibility: The location is perfect for safari-goers. All major zones are nearby, especially the renowned Dhikala Zone, which is just 5–6 km away. Durgadevi Zone is also around 5 km from the resort. Value for Money: During peak season, when most resorts charge ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per night, this place remains surprisingly affordable—offering great value without compromising on quality. Owner: Mr. Ansari, the owner, is one of the kindest and most accommodating hosts I’ve ever met. Soft-spoken and thoughtful, he makes sure every guest is comfortable. He stays on the premises with his family, which adds a sense of warmth and safety to the stay. Overall: A fantastic experience with everything we could ask for—beautiful location, great food, warm hospitality, and easy access to safari zones. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a good location right in front of the river ,nice rooms with all the amenities ,but the best part was food ,it was delicious both dinner and breakfast , kudos to chefs , service was also prompt and good ,overall value for money

The staff was very polite. Rooms were clean with a wonderful view. Food was very homely and they serve fresh phulkas for everybody. The resort has different fruit trees making it more beautiful. Overall it was a good stay. Only con was the road leading to the stay can be a little tricky if you are driving by own car.
