I reached the place and nobody was there and place was locked. I tried calling the host but he didn’t answer. He answered after 10 mins and told me that i should have called him and complained that it is written in the terms/policies which i didn’t find. There was no mention of deposit as well which he collected at the time of check-in. Lot of confusion when i reached there which was unpleasant.

Didn't allow me to enter hotel after 11 pm as i have already booked before 8. 00 pm. Very very poor and bad experience.

Room are bit small, as i was staying alone it was fine but as compared to the money i think it’s not worth.

Food is home made and was very good. Management helped in finding transportation.

We reached the place at Around 6:30 pm, and we wanted to rush to visit one temple 20 km away. Owner helped us by providing a good auto driver. About the hotel stay 1) There are too many rules (I was ok as I visited there to go to temples) someone with too many plans need to check timing. 2) Water was not provided (one of the most unhomely thing I found) also filtered drinking water comes for a cost as well. 3) Too interior from road. 4) Bed was too hot as the plastic bed covers were not removed from the bed which was annoying and was making sound everytime. 5) Owner helped to keep our things safely when we had to check out at 9 am till 1:30 pm. 6) Room images have Ac in it but those come with an additional charge. These were what I saw and felt there.

Here I stayed along with my friend in a non ac room. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Though it was a non ac room but still it was quite comfortable. I had breakfast from here it was homely cooked and its taste was really good. In short it was a good and comfortable stay.

Overall, this was a really excellent choice of place to stay in Kannur. It is super clean, very comfortable and in a very quiet nature area of Kannur. You can eat there or walk to restaurants/stores about 10 minutes away. Food there is excellent. Filtered water for drinking helps avoid plastic waste. Owners are very nice people. Be prepared to pay a damage deposit of extra charges and hand over you passports/id at check in. Owners were nice and let me put a different currency with the same value so I didn't end up with tons of INR when leaving India. Everything was excellent overall, my one critique would be that, like others have stated, between the deposit and id requirements and the list of semi-rigid rules, it does feel a little bit unwelcoming, especially at the beginning. However, ultimately this is still an excellent place to stay. If we return to Kannur, there is only one option of where would would choose to stay (here again, of course! ).

From the bus stop 500 mtr and from Kannur Railway Station 3.5 km.

Nice hotel but located in a bit isolated area. Staff is very kind and polite.

It's run buy an middle age couple, uncle seems to be bad person, I had booked for 3 days the day one was Sunday, the booking time is 7:30 to 6.30 am, that's 23 hours, since my bus would reach on Monday morning at on Sunday evening I texted him saying I will reach by 5 AM, his adamant reply was sorry, gate will be closed till 6:30, you have to wait out side the gate or in City. I had to spend 2 hours sittings in the Bus stand and the worst part is Kannur does not even have a proper Bus stand. I had to sit with Mosquito and when I reach there, he was more eager to collect an advance then making us check in though I had paid the full cash and he did not even had the Courtesy to say a sorry, rooms and surrounding are full of mosquitoes, people mentioned as though it was a cleanliest room, there are lot of hotel which are more cleaner than that, an ordinary bed and bedspread is provided, the worst to write here was that gentleman did not even had the courtesy to ask for water though he knew that the water jug was empty, the serve a tasty food, no comments on that but rate are high, over all I do not know why people had to give good rating, he is one of the bad person I have seen so Better say no you have more option in hotels.

Food is hygienic. But little more expensive. And check in/out time will different but he will adjust timing. Good home stay

The place was nearby to railway Station and breakfast made in-house is very good.

Lovely owner made my stay very pleasant. Its a beautiful home and a new ice quiet place to find some peace. Food was average though.
Lovely balcony and nice big rooms with a good hot water system

Good home stay also. Easy to access anywhere.

I went for attending conference in air all resorts so the home-stay was in between railway station and my destination which made my journey easier. Also they provided very tasty idli for breakfast which I0 was craving for long time. Rooms were clean.
