I recently stayed at Clarks Safari Pushkar, and while the property itself has potential, my overall experience was below expectations.
First and foremost, the room allotted was completely different from what was shown in the pictures during booking. This was disappointing, as one naturally expects transparency and consistency between advertised photos and the actual stay.
On the positive side, the food quality was good, but the menu was very limited. For a property of this standard, I was expecting more variety in terms of cuisines and dining options. Expanding the food choices would really enhance the guest experience.
Another challenge was the internal transport within the property. Since the resort is spread out, guests often have to cover some distance between the front desk and their rooms. At present, there are very few EVs (electric vehicles/buggies) available to assist guests, which makes movement inconvenient, especially for families with kids or elderly people. Increasing the number of EVs would make the stay far more comfortable.
Overall, while Clarks Safari Pushkar has a nice setup and good food quality, there is a clear need for improvements in room allocation transparency, food variety, and internal transport facilities. With these changes, it could truly become a great destination, but as of now, my stay left me a bit dissatisfied.
