Airy well lit rooms extremely will appointed with all the required fittings. Spic/span modern and spacious washroom. Very discrete and helpful staff. The breakfast is sumptuous with home-like attending to your needs. Thank you colonel's retreat.

The stay in the homestay was very comfortable. Room was clean and food was tasty. The staff were very polite and were eager to help. Overall a good place to stay.

I first came to colonel’s retreat in 2018 and have been returning every year since, sometimes twice a year. I love their personalized services, and the staff is always extremely courteous. They always accommodate any requests i have. The location is extremely advantageous, with the metro and other amenities easily accessible. The rooms are very well maintained, and the bathroom is spotlessly clean. This time, i loved it even more because i stayed for a week and had access to a smart tv.

Its truly a home stay. All the amenities are excellent and staff are very cordial & polite. Its completely safe, secured and hygienic. Food menu can be improved by adding few more varieties. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This place is a wonderful mix of a peaceful location, comfort of a home stay and a staff that will make you feel at home. The room was spic and span with clean and soft linen, while food was exceptional with a very homely taste. I’ll definitely revisit this place.

Clean, comfortable, and in a good location. I booked the room with breakfast which was a good idea because the nearest market is a good 15 minute walk away and does not open early in the morning. Check in and other services were seamless. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was that there was a major problem with my phone network which didn’t work in the room at all, but the wi-fi was seamless so i managed. It would be difficult to manage for longer periods of time and especially if you need to take phone calls. Overall, a tad bit pricey for the services it offers, but i would prefer it to a hotel any day.

This is a house-turned-homestay in the leafy neighborhood of defence colony in south delhi. A very well maintained property with neat rooms and good food and great ambience overall both inside and outside. The staff were courteous and helpful. Would always recommend the place and would love to come again.

I stayed there for 3 nights and trust me it's far more better than any luxury resort. Rooms are too comfortable especially the decor is just out of the world... Loved it to the core. Extra brownies should be given for Hygiene.... The SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) has been followed routinely...No bad smell no suffocation...a proper ventilation is there and you feel so comfortable just like you feel at your home. Regarding food I must say that it's delicious but with limited options especially for vegetarian like us we had limited choice. Staff is so courteous they look after your every thing with gracious smile. They are so disciplined and focused on their work no lethargic environment I found there. If you are looking for a calm serene place then your search stopped at Colonels Retreat for sure. Kudos to the owner and their extended family cum staff for providing such a warm welcome environment in midst of Delhi city.

Nestled deep in D block of defence colony, walking distance from Moet's, Sagar, Amichi and super supportive staff, it not only is a homestay, it also felt like a homestay.
