Awesome place and peaceful environment. Away from the hustle of city crowd. Warm and very co-operative staff. Travelled with family including a 5 yr old kid who enjoyed a lot. Would definitely recommend the place for stay in jaisalmer whether travel-ling with family or solo!

Great ambience, courteous staff, mouth watering food & excellent host. I think our country have some beautiful places and this one of them. Owner of the place himself makes it a point to meet you in person and help you in any ways. Great place to be in jaisalmer if you want to unwind and stay close to nature. Folk dance organized by the camp is the plus point to experience the culture of rajasthan.

A shout of for the amazing service and the staff. The tent were clean and all the facilities were provided. The best part was star gazing for which separate arrangements were made. The food was amazing.

Beautiful decor and a lovely set of staff, ever smiling and alert to your needs. Birds chirping, peacocks all around. The ambience created along with local musicians/artists/dancer is a experience one should never miss. Star gazing rooftops make you realise the beauty of sky that you have missed for so long in your busy lives. One can go on and on about this place. Short of words.

The Desert Camp is situated about 40 km away from the airport, away from the bustle of the city. Very well maintained and furnished with rustic artifacts of the region, the hospitality is top-notch and perhaps the best part about this place. There is a folk performance organized on the spot, and one can request the staff for a jeep safari or a camel ride among sand dunes where you can spend the evening as the sun sets.

We had a fantastic stay at the Camp. It is quiet and secluded with amazing staff. Thought has been put into the opportunity to enjoy stargazing, sand boarding, and the sunset in the desert. The staff was absolutely amazing. We were there in January and it does get rather cold. The show at night was nice and somewhat interactive although if you have been to other hotels in Rajasthan you have probably seen similar performances. I would highly recommend this place.

Prithvi is a real gentleman and a wonderful, courteous host. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days stay in Damodara camp. One night under the stars in the desert included Camel ride, dinner around the campfire, cultural folk dance and music etc. He has git this offbeat place about 30 km from Jaisalmer city, away from crowd and noise. The view from the camp and the desert is to die for and the sunrise and sunset is bliss. The food was wonderful. Paneer butter masala is the best I've had in my life. Cheers to Prithvi, the staff and the cook. Made our stay memorable.

The review that I look forward to writing the most in recent times. There aren’t enough good things I can say about the Damodra Desert Camp. I had mentioned at the time of the booking that this trip was to celebrate our anniversary and they were so kind and thoughtful to light up the beautiful sky with fireworks and arrange us a wonderful cake in the middle of the desert. It’s tough to tip the staff because you will never feel you are doing enough for their affable nature and hospitality. The sky gazing deck was such a fantastic experience and so were all the artists. I can go on and explain everything in painful detail but the fact is that the camp is a delight to be in and I can’t wait to go back. It’s a must do if you are planning a trip to Rajasthan. It’s quiet, beautiful, has character and so much warmth. So happy with my choice.

A great experience. The tents are neat and clean. The bath is well equipped. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. You also get to enjoy some local cultural activities at night.
This is not a room. It is a tent.

We booked this camp by searching for Luxury Camp and the word Luxury is what it stood for us. We have been to many 5 star hotels in metro and when we entered Damodra camp room, the feeling beats all other hotels. In desert you find all your needs at one place to enjoy and relax. Enter the camp site and you see 10 camp in semi circle and you will find how well the privacy between camps is maintained. Service staff shows utmost respect for you, specially Mr. Narayan Singh who is kind of your friendly companion for your stay. Safari is something can be improved for more creative Camel riding. Sand surfing is must and we loved it. Evening program after safari is what one should look for. Ambience is cosy and comfy. The music and the bonfire takes all your worries away. Food was good but can have more varieties and improvement.
