Review Of Deimaia Homestay

Location is near to shillong peak. Home stay is along the highway, easily accessible. Reception team was very good, polite and helpful. Room was neat and clean. Parking facility was good. I can say excellent experience.

Our two nights stay was very comfortable. The accommodations were well maintained with proper hygiene. For food, there is also a good onsite restaurant on the first floor. The hosts were also very welcoming and offered valuable local tips sharing their knowledge of the area.

The place is a small homestay with 8-9 rooms on the ground floor. The rooms were clean and the staffs were helpful. There is a restaurant above the hotel where you can get different cuisines. The view from there is stunning. You can see the birds eye view of Shillong City. One of the inconveniences we had is that there were power cuts from 10 pm to 5 am for both the days that we stayed and there was no backup power provided. The place is hardly 2-3 km from the Police bazaar but the road leading to this place is always congested. So access to main city takes more than an hour during the evening time.

Good stay, plea-sent atmosphear, easy approche, helpful l careing staff, on road access, parking, and cafe within premise. Recomend to stay hear. . .

Deimaia is one of the best homestay at Shillong with best view of the City. Very reasonably priced, rooms are in good condition. They provide TV with set top box connection, drinking water, heater, towel, soap and very clean rooms. Staff are very polite and helpful. They ensure the guests feel comfortable and homely. For family or couples or singles, this is best with good transport connectivity with sharing local taxi. Next time we visit Shillong, we will surely stay only with Deimaia Homestay.

Located hilltop area of shillong near sbi, mawblei. It looks beautiful at night when the entire city looks like a group of stars. Staffs are well behaved and helpful. Location is little bit far from the centre but this is not a remote place.

Although it is located 6 km from police bazar the place is easily accessible and hotel rooms are very good and well maintained

Property was booked for 9 people 3 rooms 2 plus one bed but the room has only two bed and no space for extra bed even they don't have extra mattress in the hotel which is very disgusting

First of all it was quite far, i've booked for 5 nights and i stayed there for only two nights. The place was hard to sleep in, the vibes wasn't right. It's hard to describe.

Booking experience from the app was great. Location service from the app was also up to the mark. But, rooms are different from picture. We were provided basement floor room with no outside view. After so many requests they provided us a different room in the first floor that too, their response was not good. We were even not provided/kept drinking water and glasses in the room. We had to purchase drinking water from them ourselves. Overall, terrible experience from the hotel management. Bed linen was also not clean.

Staffs are well mannered and also have been following social distancing norms. They are just a call away. Anything needed just call the staff and they would readily be available.

The property was clean and the facilities were good. The location was beautiful and convenient. The caretaker was good. But the rooms were not comfortable. Otherwise, everything was good and recommendable property.
