It was my second visit to Kochi and I had not hesitated at all to book a room in Uncle Bernard's mansion "Dreamcatchers homestay". You feel like you are at your own home. It is the most budget friendly homestay in the area, I suppose. Why we love this place more because of the kindness that the family of Uncle Bernard showers on us! He and aunt are so loving that in spite of being so many kilometres away from our own house, we feel like we are at our own house. The place is very clean, rooms are moderately sized as per the money you spent on the room per night, even I think the rooms give you more than their price. The homestay has so many potted trees around, so you can just sit in passages for as long as you want and be in peace. Yes, the place is so much peaceful too. The homestay also has a rooftop which is well designed and a beautiful cafe like feeling to spend your time. Guys, at this budget I don't think you will get all good things in one package and I think more than place, the warm and kind human beings at your service makes your stay a worth! This has been by far the best booking decision made by us while traveling. The location, hospitality, rooms and overall comfort is what makes me claim this statement. Firstly, the location is excellent as most of the tourist locations in Fort Kochi, such as Santa Cruz Cathedral, Kathakali Centre, Chinese Fishnets, etc. are within 2 km of the place. The rooms are spacious and clean as well, with magnificent structure of the place as well as a beautiful rooftop. Lastly, the thing that made our stay most memorable is the receptivity of the hosts which made us feel as comfortable as staying in your own home. From serving coffee and snacks in the morning to providing detailed guide of the city, the exceptionally polite behavior of captain Bernard and his family proved to be the best hosts I've seen yet. All in all, if you want a homely environment and comfortable stay, book the rooms before it gets full.

Uncle Bernard and Sally aunty like our Father and mother, treated me like their son. I had delicious breakfast and coffee made by sally aunty. The sambar was very tasty. I had booked a budget room for my stay but uncle Bernard generously gave me a high standard balcony room with a very good view and a beautiful roof top garden to stay. It's a very nice and safe place for the guests. When I say "safe place", I mean it. I am a solo traveler. I would highly Recommend Dream Catcher Home Stay for all those trying to find a place to stay when you visit Kochi. Even the main attractions in fort Kochi are just about a walkable distance from the place. Thank you Bernard uncle and Sally aunty for the comfortable stay.

We had booked an budget room for 2 nights but there was some issue with our room it was provided to someone else maybe because we checked in at around 8.30 pm. So we had to wait until it was resolved between MakeMyTrip and the Dream Catcher Home Stay Fort Cochinier. We were then provided with an triple bed room, since it was the only room left at that time. Other than this the stay was great and comfortable. The Dream Catcher Home Stay Fort Cochin owners were quite friendly and helpful. Tourist spots and restaurants are also nearby.
Rooms were clean but compact. Not enough plug points 2 in total of which one in bathroom.

The owner of the homestay is friendly. The building is built in a portuguese style. The walls are painted white and the wall is covered with garden plants. The room is equiptwith ac. There are beautiful decoration such as wall painting, show pieces, etc. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Since it is a homestay, Dream Catcher Home Stay Fort Cochin style facilities are not available. To mention a few, there are no facilities such as wifi, electric geyser, toiletries etc. Overall it is a good budget Dream Catcher Home Stay Fort Cochin if you can compromise on facilities.

Location wise it is near all the attractions of fort kochi. All good restaurants are nearby. Service was very good. The house was very beautiful and clean. Owner was very kind and helpful.
The owner was very good. He treated us like their family members. Upgraded room type without extra charges for our convenience. The home stay is very beautiful and at walking distance from the beach and other tourists places near fort kochi. The room was very well maintained and beautiful. Everything about this home-stay is so nice that I wish coming to stay here again and again. Uncle Fernandez and Aunty are good human beings. They treat me like their own son. Thank you so much. The home-stay is very quiet and we could connect with nature in true sense. I feel to write here and analyse life more deeply. The home-stay is simple and so anyone who wish to stay simple and sweet must stay in this home-stay. The rooms are pretty good and clean too. The rooftop is nice place to relax.

The big house adorned with potted plants are away from the bustle of the road. The location is suitable to visit fort Kochi. The rooms are clean and nice with all facilities required for day to day activities. Uncle brendan and aunt sali are extremely warm, helpful and friendly. I'm quite lucky to have met them and to have them as a local guardian. In the mornings you can listen to uncle playing some deep purple. I'd recommend the place to anyone coming to fort Kochi.

It was an amazing stay with very good facilities and the most memorable thing about the stay were two lovely uncle and aunty who also seem to be the owners of the house... It's an wonderful stay and I am sure those who will stay here will take great memories back.

Dream Catcher is like a home away from home Mr S Bernard Fernandez (host) is an extremely helpful and polite person. The property is also very well maintained and hygiene.

The people and weather, the room, altogether I can say excellent stay. I got bike for rent, without any security deposit.

We are a South African and holland travelers who found this spot at the last minute. We arrived super late at night from a late flight and were received very well, also booked a economy room but were gifted a standard room. Super great hosts, family home vibes and a great location for the biennale art venues, we walked to the main venue from here check it out.

The host is so sweet and friendly. The stay is located in a well accessible area. You can reach the location by bus or boat from ernakulam. It was a please-ant stay over there and each and every main tourist spots are nearby. In all and last thankyou uncle and aunty for making this trip memorable.
