The overall experience was not pleasant at all
The experience could be because of the low footfall during the season but regardless here the review - 1. The manager/owner was not reachable when required 2. Property rate for the stay was night for the sea view room without view of the sea (in off season) and when not much places were open around the area 3. Ants everywhere 4. Even coffee sachets were not provided/refilled when asked 5. Internet wasn’t working 6. Pestering for checkout while we were waiting for our breakfast in the inhouse restaurant 7. Food service was very delayed throughout 8. Some kid on property was very intrusive and kept coming into the room initially, kept pestering (not exactly the point but we could not even peacefully play antakshari)

Terrible Stay
Location is outside of city, Rooms are different from site photo... but now all things are looks in poor condition. Owner/ Manager not supportive...they not allowed our taxi to pickup from hotel.. we have small kid with us but they are not allowed Goa miles vehicle in hotel premises, then we carry all our luggage’s with kid out side of the hotel 500 meter walk and catch the our vehicle. They will offered their vehicle in double cost. But why we take that vehicle in double cost. It’s very bad person. Next time we cannot go that place & no any one to advise also.

Experience at DucknChill
I recently stayed at this resort in Goa and had a mixed experience. The staff deserves genuine appreciation for their efforts. They were consistently courteous, helpful, and did their best to address our concerns during the stay. We encountered heavy rainfall during our visit, which is common in Goa. However, the resort seemed completely unprepared for basic weather conditions. There were no adequate coverings or protection for the cottages, resulting in rainwater streaming directly into our room. To make matters worse, we discovered roof leakage that created puddles inside the accommodation. The open bathroom concept might sound appealing in theory, but the execution was poor. The lack of any enclosure made it impractical during the rains. there were tree branches growing into the bathroom space that clearly needed proper trimming and maintenance. Surprisingly, there was no intercom system in the room, which is a basic amenity one expects at any decent accommodation.The infrastructure issues, poor weather preparedness, and lack of basic amenities make it difficult to justify the rates being charged.

Unfortunately, the sudden cyclone and the early arrival of monsoon caught us off guard this season. Excellent Stay
Stay was peaceful with no disturbance. Staff was polite and helpful rooms were clean and hygiene maintained. Restaurant is well set with delicious breakfast. Location is serene and has no disturbance of outsiders

The budget rooms are an absolute n
The lower priced rooms are very poorly built and maintained, the wooden doors and walls look very old and damaged. The mosquito net attached to the bed spoils the whole look and feel of the room otherwise the entrance to the hotel, parking and the restaurant looks neat.

Good Stay
We found this property through Google only and found the cost of staying less in Make my trip compared to other websites. Duck n Chill is really a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a vacation. Food was a bit costly but other amenities were really good for the pricing. Services could be progressed even more in a better way.

Good room but blocked view by nets installed
Only beach front rooms are good other categories and at back side and didn’t worth to stay at higher price also this hotel is at end of beach side. Also during this season they cover our beach front room with net so it’s kind of blocking view wich is kind of disappointing only good i feel is the room was on the beach just open door and can access beach. Check other hotel also confirm if nets are there installed if u booking beach front property

Worst stay experience in said place, 3rd class service and arrogant negligent response from hotel staff, not recommend to stay in such third class resort. Very un-hygenic

Terrible Stay
The guy in reception was very rude and did not have basic manners. The restaurant needs to work on it, also there are no mosquito nets and there are a lot of mosquitoes

Ac cottage garden view - an unhygienic condition and over-priced poormeal
businessThe con: we were allotted one garden view ac cot and one garden view non-ac. The garden deserves a proper care which is totally lacking. Ac cottage had a big opening on the bathroom door and bathroom had no exhaust. Imagine the hell. And ac was just running hardly any cooling. Tourist pls check room no 11 before check in. As regards meals, most in the menu are not available. And what they say is available, they cannot deliver the same but somehow cook something and deliver. We ordered xacuti. The guy ritesh talked to the cook and took order. Then came back to say, they are short of spices so cook can prepare vindalo. Then what was served was a chicken gravy not what is known as chicken vindalo. So kitchen and room infra needs urgent improvement. However, the pros : the property is on the beach and if you want a calm lonely stay, here it is. Back water meet the sea 200 meters away from the property.

To Expensive Stay and average Food
Stay was good but to expensive. Only limited AC rooms all other rooms are Non AC. Food was very average and expensive and only limited food menu items are available. Liquor is also limited what they have that serve

Rooms me bohot jade garam hota hai. Hotel ki roof ka kama thik nahi hai so thoda thik krna pdega. Hotel vale time pe call uthate nahi hai auro na hi kuchh reply krte hai. Food was bit costly than outside.

Terrible Stay
coupleThe service was very terrible and the staff were not friendly. They did not attend to our needs and the room we booked had a fan which didnt even work and the photos shown are not exactly what the place is like. It does have a lovely view of the quiet beach other than that overall was a bad experience.
