Tranquil bliss: a family retreat at the dyarkoul homestay
Rated 5.0 by Alvin Shemain . Family Traveller . May 25, 2024
Our family of 4 including 2 young kids had an unforgettable stay at the dyer koul homestay. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility that permeated every corner of the property. The ambience was simply brilliant and breath taking, with cozy interiors and tasteful decor that added to the overall charm. But it was the view overlooking the valley that truly stole our hearts; it was like something out of a postcard, utterly mesmerizing. Avinash and katha, the hosts, are the true gems of this homestay. Their warm personalities and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The home cooked food was an icing prepared with love & care. We can't recommend dyer koul homestay enough. It's not just a place to stay; it's an experience to cherish forever. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a chance to connect with nature, this homestay is a must-visit. We'd love to plan our next trip back! p. S. - ours was the studio suite with a kitchenette

Excellent Stay
Rated 5.0 by Meenakshi S . May 21, 2024
We had an amazing stay at dyar koul. Rooms are clean and ventilated. Food is really good. Non spicy which we really wanted for our 6 year daughter. Care takers are friendly which made our stay really comfortable. The location is really at the nice place.

Decent place near narkanda
Rated 3.0 by Atul Pandey . Family Traveller . Jul 18, 2024
Good stuff:
location is peaceful. Lot of fruit trees around the property. Some rooms are quite good. Restaurant has good decor as well and you can get a nice homely meal cooked by the nice couple running the home stay. You also get fresh fruits at the restaurant plucked from nearby orchards. View from the property is also good not so good stuff:
homestay is around 5km from narkanda so you need to travel a bit if you want to eat something other than that you get at the property. Menu is severely limited even after advance notice. Lunch is not prepared so you need to go to narkanda for that. Apple or-chad rooms we took are quite congested and don't have a decent sit out area. Some construction was going on in the property which created noise and dust during the stay. No help is avaiable at the property to help you with luggage or to deliver food to your room when you don't feel like going to the restaurant. They don't have fans in the room which was an issue in the afternoon and sometimes during night as well. Nets are not installed on the windows and the area has a lot of insects so you cant sleep with windows open as well. All the cons are quite minor and hope they are fixed soon
