The Rooms were super clean and beautiful. Staff were also friendly and helpful. enjoyed the nature and the experience beauty of the place

To be very honest the staff and care taker were friendly but the food was not good. It doesn't look like 3 star as mentioned in Google and mmt. The rooms could have been cleaner. Not recommended

The place was beautiful and the staff was very polite. I really liked it there. The place was at the edge of edakkal caves and there was nothing you can get nearby after 6 PM. The resort also does not have anytime food ordering, you have to plan and order ahead. Also, in the month of April, the heat was an issue and the rooms dis not have ACs. That is why I’m giving it a 4 star. But the people were really helpful and really enjoyed my stay.

The stay was very comfortable, the view was amazing and breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful.

Very near to edakkal caves 4. Friendly staff( especially NITHIN) 5.Parking place Cons: The road leads to property is bit steap but it is adjustable considering the stay experience

This place is for those who want to disconnect from the busy day to day city life and to escape into the melodies of nature. The resort situated beneath the historical edakkal caves, is maintained in the very raw way possible taking care not to lose the natural beauty of the lush green jungle. A must visit spot for nature lovers and for families to reconnect. Provided with a beautiful cottage with spectacular view and best hospitality we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice location amid-st nature with great views. The staff was very nice and hospitable, and cooked amazing homelike food.

Cottages are made of wood and they are amid-st trees and in hilly areas so it provides a soothing and peaceful stay experience! reasonable price, good service. You can park your car/vehicle in resort and visit edakal caves. Cons: no ac, mini fridge (better to have these ) and no tv ( it doesn't matter much for those who love peace)

I recently stayed at the stay hotel, and i must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. To start with, there were several issues with the room that made my stay uncomfortable. The room handle was broken, which not only made it difficult to enter the room but also raised security concerns. The bathroom glass was also shattered, posing a safety hazard. The tap handle in the bathroom was broken as well, making it challenging to regulate water flow and temperature. To make matters worse, when i entered the room, i was greeted by an unwelcome surprise - a scorpion and a spider. This was a huge concern for me, as it raised questions about the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Such a sight is definitely not what one expects when checking into a hotel. Additionally, the lack of non-vegetarian options for dinner was disappointing. The reason provided was that there were no other guests, but this should not be an excuse to compromise on the food quality and variety. The available food had a very limited selection, and the quality was subpar, especially considering the price charged for it. Overall, my stay at the stay hotel was marked by numerous issues, from broken room and bathroom fixtures to the presence of unwelcome critters and unsatisfactory dining options. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially given the price they charge for their services.

Refund is not done yet in-spite of being promised about the refund by manager as we cancel-led the stay on the same day and he said he will refund the amount experience was terrible

We were here for a vacation! the stay was good! the hospitality was great! the food was excellent! the place is very near to edakkal caves! it just takes 5mins walk from this resort to edakkal caves and moreover the place is isolated but very safe! at night you can hear birds singing, and each room is very well separated giving you absolute privacy! the only prob is the place is little far from the town at around 12kms (sultan bathery. The best way if you're traveling in public commute is to rent out a bike or car!

*horrible place, there were insects in the room including a big spider. *they don't have an intercom you have to call the staff on mobile now its their choice they take your call or not. *no food menu as well they sent the menu in whatsapp without rates. *we had to request the manager to at-least meet us we had to go to the reception. *no water in the taps neither cold nor hot. After multiple calls they switched on the motor and installed a gas cylinder for the gas gyser. *since we had our baby with us we found the property very unsafe thus left immediately. *the manger offered us stay in their other property but amount demanded was way more than it showed on mmt booking. *their management didn't take the managers call god know how they deal with customer query.

Location is mind blowing. Food quality is also good. Service is excellent as specially room service boy mr. Ship-hen & mr richard is very co operative resort manager mr. Ranjit is also very supportive & friendly. Definitely will try to visit again. I recommend everyone to visit once.

The rooms were decent, the staff was helpful. The breakfast was denied later after clarification provided to us. Below average hospitality experience. Would recommend it if you know the local language and are ok with sub par hospitality.

Overall the stay at edakkal hermitage was bery nice. It was a much needed break from the city life and stay at edakkal was perfect for this. We stayed in the middle of beautiful nature. Service was good and well maintained rooms.
