We visited casa royale, ekostay properties for two days, 5 couples and 6 children. Our experience was extremely disappointing. 1. The staff is not warm and courteous. The hall is not cleaned promptly, used plates are not cleared in time (left until the next day. Fresh towels not replaced promptly, unless asked for repeatedly. 2. The pool was supposed to be highlight for us because we had kids. The floor was full of slimy silt, there were dead and living insects. The purification system was not at all upto there mark. The staff agreed that they should have cleaned and started the purification in the morning and the pool was unusable. 3. The preparation of food was quite okay taste wise but there is no flexibility with respect to food timings. After complaining, hue and cry we managed to get food early on the second day as we had 6 kids under age of 5. Pane-er was not good in quality, it was chewy and was not fresh. The chef and food was still relatively the best part of the stay as his preparation of some dishes was good. 4. Bathroom fittings where we want to use the bucket were not functional in some places and only shower could be used. 5. Tv remote is a duplicate version which is very difficult to use. 6. Each room has a store room where cleaning equipment, mattresses, pillows etc are kept. So if you are sleeping also, the staff has to disturb and enter the room to access the storage! visited after we complained during our stay and he agreed that service was not upto the mark look for better maintained properties where they will make efforts to give you a better experience.
