We had an okay stay which wasn’t as per our expectations and did not feel it worth the amount paid for a villa. The online pictures of the property are misleading in terms of the area of the living room, and size of the pool. However, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The chef and the housekeeping boys were very helpful and kept the property clean and provided us with what we asked/required. We were disappointed that after coordinating with the caretaker, rohit a week prior on the food and informing that we would want to check in before 2pm as per our ferry timing, we could only access our rooms post 2:30pm. Lunch was served immediately and we were not given enough time to settle in before our meal. We were also not informed that the road or pathway to the property was blocked due to roadwork and that created an inconvenience and risked our vehicles driving on a rocky gravel path. The fridge was switched off and took a long time to cool our drinks considering the weather and summer heat. The biryani ordered did not have the add-on ingredients (potatoes and eggs) which we had informed to be added and reconfirmed at the time of reviewing the menu. Also, please have the swimming pool tiles cleaned regularly to avoid slipping and consider adding steps or handles for a safe entry to the pool. We had a casualty of a fall and a deep cut on the head which could’ve been avoided if there was proper entry to the small pool. Please also consider the check in and check out timings as 2:30pm to 11:00am is a short time of only 8hours for any group to enjoy their stay as it’s more rushed than relaxing.
