the room was comfortable with the basic necessities and is recommended for an overnight stay and rest after a hectic site seeing and rides. Food services were not provided but a good restaurant was available nearby. The homestays are located one after the other in the street and so a bit congested. Immaculate and well maintained rooms

Excellent place with a tranquil ambience and beautiful rooms. Mr. Babu's tender nature and hospitality is simply amazing.

I booked room on El-paradiso,later when i called for booking confirmation on the check in date,i was informed that rooms not available and they gave me address of another hotel.when i reached the other hotel,the rooms where not according to the specification that i booked earlier.As there were no other rooms available,i had to stay in that room.I had a terrific experience staying there.

The owner of the Homestay was very humble. The rooms are same as shown on the images. I personally liked the balcony of the rooms and the swing(jhula) hanging on the balcony. Please visit once.

It is a Guest house, where the owner lives on the ground floor with his family. Due to some reason, we reached late night at the property, which he didn't like and could not provide any staff to help us with our luggage. No hot water in the morning. Beds were small. No Breakfast was provided. The owner made us feel like we were staying in a Hostel not in a Hotel, He was getting irritated by small small things. Service was really poor as per the price charged. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place.

We allot ed room in elephant resort hotel which was very near to Periyar national park and other local attractions. The rooms were good and service was prompt. And food was just ossom. Do have their fish curries which are mouth watering.

I stayed there for a day with my family. Overall experience was good. Owner of homestay was very friendly. Room, bed, bathroom, surrounding etc. Are very good. The location is closer to Tourist Information Center. Restaurant is in walkable distance.

It was a wonderful trip at Thekkady. It was a one day trip at Thekkady. Owner of EL Paradise, Mr. Babu was an excellent person. He is very gentle and great personality. I am very much impressed with him. Since he was a owner, instead of it, he received us and given guidance to see thekkady.

It's a guest house, not a hotel. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. TV was old CRT TV, remote was not working and channels not clear. Wi-Fi was free and fast. Bathroom was very big and clean. Breakfast is complimentary but is served in different location and was decent. Location was in centre of the tekady. Overall it was nice stay.

It was a decent place to stay, not bad. But its not a hotel, its a home-stay. There is no restaurant inside, it is somewhere else. No proper parking as well. No lift, so confirm on which floor your room is. Everything else was fine. Clean rooms and washrooms.

Good location and well furnished rooms. But poor service made our stay miserable. On reaching the hotel no water was available in the bathroom. Next day morning also same thing was repeated. Not a drop of water was available in the bathroom. All taps went dry. After lot of efforts, owner started water pumping system. But we got only muddy water from all the taps. The suffering does not ends here. We had booking voucher from MakeMyTrip which included breakfast also. Owner refused to provide full breakfast stating 7.30 am is too early. We had to make it to only couple of bread slices and tea.

First of all its not a hotel, its a residency guest house (similar to that of home stay), there were no staff at least, if one wanna drink coffee, need to go out. Facilities were not up to the mark, the owner approach was quiet good and generous.

Really nice place to stay. Good hotel. Lot of shopping malls and shops nearby. Good in cleanliness.

If you want to stay for one day then you can choose, not luxurious, they didn't provide mineral water but breakfast was good.

Hotel location is really good. Rooms are clean and neat. Morning complimentary breakfast is really healthy. Owner and all people are kind and ready to help all the time. Only a small inconvenience caused to us because unfortunately we didn't get Hot water in the early morning, I guess this might be a temporary problem. Overall for family its a really good hotel. Please remember there is no lift so if you have old age people who cannot climb steps then please ask owner to provide ground level rooms.

It was beautifully planned home, calm, silent, clean and wonderful, we had no issues with this stay. We were group of 5 and the facilities were good even the extra mattress provided was comfortable and clean. Overall value for money, balcony we got was garden facing with nice view.

The Lady (Owner is very helpful). But overall it's ok type stay. There was no hot water available in the evening. Weather was cold. No room service. Lot of mosquitos. Bathroom was not clean. No breakfast. Check-in was late. No one is there to pick up luggage.

Family owned business but yet done with passion and excellent hospitality I must say the people are very humble in Kerala, nearby market. Kathakali, kalaripayattu, massage etc are the activities which will keep you busy. We got a room with a balcony and it was nice experience to enjoy the night, it was a pleasant experience:)

Accommodation wise the hotel is good. The rooms are good with independent balcony. But the service and attitude of owner is poor. I would recommend it to others as it's safe and a nice gated community except for the service. Also it's near to Kumily bus stand and town.
