Eterno Capithans Dale

First of all it's not a Eterno Capithans Dale or resort it is an pvt bungalow which is used for commercial purpose. But yes it is managed in a very professional manner. Positives- 1) Beautiful view from rooms specifically in morning and evening. 2)Hospitality is to it's best. 3)Neat and clean spacious rooms with Balcony. Negatives -1) Isolated place with roads not so good. 2) No amenities 3) Food average with less options 4) Tariff is very high compare to amenities provided. Recommendations - Will not recommend to couple, it's not that it is risky or bungalow is bad but as it is at such an isolated place and if you don't have your own vehicle or taxi than this place to reach after sunset is almost reaching to god. If you are in group than yes this option you can work out for as you can enjoy this bungalow which is having limited rooms. Also after Munnar if you all travelling to thekkady than this bungalow is on the way, but try to reach before 6 in evening. If at same tariff you getting some better 4 star Eterno Capithans Dales or resorts than select that Eterno Capithans Dale or resorts. Recommendation to bungalow, your everything is almost perfect except roads approaching to your bungalow and tariff which is bit on higher side compare to reach and amenities.

First the plus: Great view on the top of a hillock. Helpful people. Reasonable prices. Spacious rooms. Acceptable cleanliness. Negatives: Last km road is very badly damaged. No working card payment. No cellular network reach. Wi-Fi is also equally poor. Completely out of communication. Neutrals which are OK to me. Construction going on did not bother us. Not a resort. Better than a homestay but with privacy and big rooms. Restaurant is rather a private kitchen and cooked to order. Very limited options. But was tasty whatever was prepared. No reception or office. 6 rooms and more under construction. Overall, Suitable for honeymooners, for couples and friend who prefer quiet stays. Not suitable for children and elders. Need to be a good driver due to sharp slopes.

It is very beautiful bungalow to stay in Munnar .Very good, comfortable and clean rooms and facilities .It's on the top of the hill in middle of tea estate and can enjoy the beautiful view of Munnar from your Eterno Capithans Dale only. One of the highlight of the place is very curtsies and helpful staff. Mr. Saju and his team is doing very appreciative hospitality. They have arranged beautiful bonfire and even arrange the tour to nearby fruit and spice gardens. There is small suggestion though they serve very good food but need to keep more variety /choice in food, specifically in Veg. Dinner. I will recommend this place to stay who really want to enjoy the nature , this place is really stress buster . I will visit again. Keep it up Capithans..

Stayed for 2 days with my family including 1-year-old son. We were not planning any sightseeing. Just wanted a relaxed stay. And Capithans Bungalow was perfect for our plans. It is surrounded by tea plantations and we can walk through the plantation. The view from the balcony is just amazing and makes our stay worth the bad roads we have to climb. The manager Mr. Saju and all the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good with a small kitchen attached. There was a fridge and an induction cooker also which helped us to cook our baby his food. The food was a little pricey but good. The complimentary breakfast was very heartily and complete. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Capithans Bungalow is a great resort to stay and enjoy Munnar views. It has an exceptional view from the balcony. We booked a standard room, which was really spacious and neat. It had a mini kitchen with induction stove, which was very useful for us. Toiletries were not great. The Road to the resort is very bad that's the only down Side. If they get the roads ready, this resort is exceptional at an affordable price. The staff there are very very sweet, friendly and prompt in service. We wanted no onion no garlic food and they prepared for us. Food was great except for the fried rice which was not up-to the mark. On the whole, we will give 4 rating just for its view and service.

Right above the clouds is where you would wake up if you chose to stay at this wonderful resort.. Coming to this place might be difficult and driver can say "where the hell is this Eterno Capithans Dale? Why are you taking me through this bad road etc.. " You might feel you are going to a haunted place as well for a moment. But shun those thoughts and take the leap of faith on your way to capithans.. Because this is truly heaven in Munnar.. Service is as per your demand.. If you don't say anything to them it might not be as per your expectations. But once said they follow it.. Visit to HML tea garden is walking distance way.. In fact they have a small tea garden of their own..

Stayed there for 2 nights. Had a pleasant experience .. Worth enough to spend. Pros - great location, superb view of mountains, tea estates, food (freshly prepared), clean rooms, nice staff who always willing to assist Cons - little bit far from Munnar town(25km), less variety and foods, few facilities like room services can be improved Overall good and calm place to spend with family ... The breath taking views from the rooms, locations are incomparable .. Foods are prepared freshly and like home made .. Thanks to Saju( manager), chef, support staff for making the stay as memorable one. Definitely recommend to travelers who need a break and enjoy the nature

A real value for money stay. Considering the amazing view you get, nothing beats the beauty of this location almost, also very courteous staff, helpful and friendly manager Mr Saju, although make a call before locating the place as location is different as shown in google maps, final approach road is steep and rocky and some bits, doable by a car with a bit more ground clearance but do take your car up there because the place you park, the car gets the best 360 degrees view all day long. Food is on the expensive side and you have really no other option to have it any other way but a worthy peaceful and satisfying stay as far as we are concerned.

Perfect stay with a breath taking view of Aanayirangal dam and the mighty mountains of Meesapulimala. Great trek spot within tea estates.

Capithan Bungalow located in near Kolukumalai, and Bungalow build up in tea garden and top of the mountain, Very very fantastic view of Untiringly dam and surrounding mountains, Cannot express the feel in few words, That's why title given must stay at least once in life, Never forget the feel and natural.

Everything was perfect during the stay. Only thing those who are travel-ling to this resort first time accompany a good driver. Parking on top. Will be little difficult if you are not good at driving.

The view from the resort was beyond description. Scenic and very peaceful. But too difficult to reach. Very far from Munnar. Food was below average. But the service was good and prompt. Room was spacious with scenic views.

The view from the balcony and property is breathtaking. The service is brilliant and the food is even better. The only downside is that the place is slightly tough to reach and far away from Munnar. But that can also be a positive, depending on your perspective!

Great, You can enjoy a lot, Good service they have jeep and auto for outing, very romantic and classroom, distance but worth of money. Everything is good. Especially site seeing is very nice. Food is very nice. Area is very nice with nice site seeing. We enjoyed a lot Service was great. I would recommend this Eterno Capithans Dale strongly, staff is very friendly and professional at the same time

Nice and cosy stay, pleasant and welcoming staff.

Great Staff. Super supportive and very cordial. The place is hidden amongst the clouds and beautiful tea gardens. Food is tasty and homely. The drive to the Eterno Capithans Dale is a bit challenging as it is a steep climb

Excellent view from the Eterno Capithans Dale and we enjoyed trekking between tea plantations. Great service and hospitality is recommendable. It's a experience place and not compare to normal Eterno Capithans Dales. You won't forget the place. Thank you team

This Eterno Capithans Dale is located at a remote area with an amazing view from the balcony and the climate was superb. Friendly Eterno Capithans Dale staff and room was good all basic amenities.

Not easy to spot Capithan and rightly so. Go if you want to be off the grid but with the facilities of a city. Impeccable service, great location and serene. Did I mention the view? Special mention for Mr. Saju, the manager. No more spoilers. Go, if you want to take a leap of faith and end up refreshed and pleasantly surprised.
