Excellent is the word describing faraway cottages, joshimath. Would have given them more than 5 points if possible. Awesome scenic view from the comfort of your room. Feels like sitting in the lap of nature. Quality & tasty food. Very helpful staff & service to help you out in every way possible. Found it way better than other home stays & resorts in that area. A must try for quiet, peace loving people with lots of activities within a little distance from the resort.

I visited auli in february 2024 with my mother, choosing faraway cottages as our stay for 2 nights. It's a beautiful property, extremely hygienic, offers splendid views of the ice clad mountains. We stayed in a superior luxury cottage, the amenities were up to the mark and all our requests were taken care of the staff promptly. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. Plus points to the amazing location of this property, the rooms are very spacious and the private balcony adds to the beauty of this place. They have a beautiful restaurant too, the food is amazing as well. For us, the staff recommended local food and it turned out to be great! a truly amazing experience!

The place is clean and well maintained as well as the food is also delicious the best part of my stay was the view from my room it was magnificent and very relaxing will 100% recommend to stay here.

The stay was beautiful! the best view you can get of snow clad mountains ! it was peaceful and serene. The design & architect of the stay was elite & spacious. The staff was extremely sweet & helpful! big thanks to sandeepji & harish for taking good care of us! the only thing that needs a bit improvement is the taste of food. No doubt the quality & freshness of the food was impeccable but the taste needs a bit more improvement overall an amazing experience!
