A perfect stay amidst the calm Nigeen lake. Tranquility at its best. Tasty food, fantastically maintained, warm hospitality and lavish interior. Highly recommended.

The hospitality of Houseboats was very good. Gulzar takes very good care of the guests. The houseboat is very well designed. It is well maintained and clean.

I know Gulmarg is in Cold place but there are certain things you can change to make it better living for the Guest. First, always close your Main entrance. If you can’t then don’t give any guest G Floor. Buffet, if you strictly on buffet then fill that up.

Nigeen lake is very quiet& scenic as compared to dal, fh houseboat is 3star property, average food, sovenier sellers come to doorstep, it's not easy to maintain such property, but good behavior of staff is plus point. For every add-on like shikara, kawaha, tea, ask charges or else you land up paying high, tip is not optional but compulsory

Nice house boat opposite ghat no 2 in nigeen lake well maintained with beautiful living area and dining area room was comfortable dinner and breakfast was tasty and homemade cooking flavour caretaker of the boat gulzar was polite and helpful though too fussy about being paid tip at time of checkout overall a good experience if you want a serene atmosphere compared to the hustle and bustle of the dal lake side cons very few number of restaurants on the hazratbal road near nigeen lake

Location : the location of the boat is perfect as it is located in the less crowded nigeen lake. You will have breathtaking views both from the deck and the room's window! interior: the interior of the boat is luxurious and brimming with art and crafts! also the facilities inside will keep your stay comfortable. There are kerosene heaters for winters and fans for summers as even in summers the temperature is not that high. Food: the food is delicious and cost effective. Veg. Dinner for 2 costed rs1000 and included 2 vegetable dishes including a pane-er dish, dal, rice, chapati, salad, papad and dessert. Host: hosts are humble, friendly and genuine people who take delight in truly welcoming and serving their guests.

Food was very good..rooms also big spacious and comfortable..and staff was very good...but we checkin by afternoon..so it was very hot being summer no AC 😞 secondly from lake station to house boat u get a shikara drop..no one from house boat will some to the station to collect ur luggage from the car..u will have to carry to the station they will just load to the shikara while returning also will drop total he station again u or ur driver will have to load to the car..but good experience worth the cost

The location is superb in nigeen lake. Cleanness, food, facilities etc are very good and up to mark. Lake view, sun set is good. Atmosphere is superb. Total paisa vasool. The caretaker is also good nature. Must be accommodated if visiting srinagar.

Kashmir has always been the valley of my dreams so disclaimer that my reviews about this place might be a little biased. Let's start with the boat, the boat is an excellent shape with beautiful carvings and decoration that you would have never seen before. The caretaker, mr mushtaq, is an absolute gentleman and is always available at your every beck and call. He is there to assist you in whatever you ask for. The location is serene and quiet. Best for couples who need some time alone. Vehicles can be arranged by mr mustak for you to go around the city. One of the best experiences in srinagar. Overall an unforgettable episode in my life

Despite of having medical emergency even though i have provided the medical reports owner of this particular didn’t understand a bit and charges the whole amount

We were initially sceptical about staying on a houseboat, but we are so happy that we did decide to stay at floating heavens houseboat. The views are stunning, you just get lost in the sunset. Nigeen lake is a better choice of the lakes to stay as it is so peaceful and one can enjoy the nature as it is meant to be. Mr. Gulzar is an amazing host and the way he took care of us really made the stay more enjoyable. The rooms were very spacious, neat and tidy. Food at floating houseboat is very delicious, especially the non-veg stuff. It feels like home staying at floating heavens houseboat. Would definitely stay here again if we do come back to srinagar.

The boat is great. Location is good. The owner of the boat called mustak is a good man and very wise. Be careful with the caretaker guljar as he intend to lie and take money. Another issue is to reach boat from land.

The stay was good. The ambience was also good. Good for one night stay. To reach house boat we need another ride on boat. Apart from this, to go to market, it can only be possible with boat ride for instance to dal lake. The food was quite expensive in house boat. In a nutshell, it is apt for one night stay only.

The property is neat and tidy very well maintained. The host gulzar bhai and mushtaq bhai are also very friendly and available for assistance all time.

Mustaq and Yousuf both are great hosts… Place is super Tidy… this is more than our expectation… Lovey accommodation.. room is very good… But remember, if are a first time in house baot then you find it little delicate to handle in boat as its wooden structure but rest is super cool

Mushtaq bhais house boat is a dream to live in. Service from yousuf bhai is top notch. They have been doing this for over a hundred years so they really know what they are doing. The houseboat itself is highly luxurious with intricate carvings and is absolutely clean. The food is homely and great! me and my family had a great time.
