Wonderful stay !
It was a wonderful experience for us staying in this resort. Staff is very courteous and helpful, view of valley in wonderful from this place. We would like to extend our thank you to mr. Benjamin there who was always ready to make our stay memorable for us. He helped us arranging a surprise cake cutting with music and flower for my husband's bday celebration and charged us almost nothing. Thank you global village resort for giving us the wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend to others.

Great stay
It's a nice place with good and tasty food. The stay at norway castle was good it's neat and clean. Staff's are polite and provided good accommodation.

Good Stay
Had a pleasant stay this property is located 13km from ooty. Good 1. Value for the money. Housekeeping is prompt, and the room is kept clean. 2. Have decent car parking space for 8 cars maximum. 3. Location provides scenic views. Disadvantages 1. There are no good restaurants in the vicinity. So you are left at the mercy of restort kitchen. Food served is of average quality and exorbitantly priced. A simple south indian meal (rice, sambar, subji, rasam, youghurt) costs rs. 225.

Awesome stay and wonderful location
coupleChettinad darbar was awesome. The view and the location was too good. People who like to stay out of the traffic visit global village. Definitely worth it. The staffs are friendly and serve you well. Food is not expensive. Can improve in the quality of tea n coffee. Otherwise i would rate 5/5

groupThere is no communication, there is no wifi, food is below average. If you want to go there drive from ooty i mean go to ooty city and drive over there, this property has two ways one road is worst, the other is better one, but i don't recommend this hotel

Amazing stay
The place is very beautiful and peaceful, everything was awesome, breakfast was really good. Worth staying. The place is calm as it is on outskirts of ooty.

Not worth for money
The place does not have a vibe, maintenance needed. I stayed in white house, room has wall seepages and smell. Staffs are supportive and attentive with good food. In case you are in a group and do not require any facility opt for under 3000- with breakfast. This place requires complete revamp.

Holiday spoiler resort
The room was pathetic, the almirah was broken, the curtains were stinking, the bedsheet was brown in colour, the food was unbearable, there was no service orientation among the staff. For any feedback the manager become angry and said " this is a reputed resort. This is like living in denial. The approach to the room didn't have any light and it became very risky during the night. No room cleaning on the second day, but i was charged the same amount for both the days. have taken photos also.

Average expectations
familyWe stayed for four nights in global village ooty. This property is located 15km from ooty city. If you don’t have your private vehicle, then commuting (for sightseeing) will be expensive. There are no decent hotels nearby, so you are left with no choice but to have your meals in the resort kitchen. Breakfast spread is limited (only couple of south indian menu. In the buffet breakfast, dosa will not be served. Food is expensive (charged at 4* hotels rate, but taste and quality is average. We found a piece of chicken bone in vada. Bbq chicken was priced at rs. 300/serving, which had only 3 pieces(ridicules isn’t it. Room that we stayed was clean and proper housekeeping was provided. However, you have to ask for basic toiletries and towels at the reception. In addition, intercom (phone) was not working, so had to call them using our mobile phone for the services. However, the property is located in calm and scenic serenity. Room rent is expensive and certainly not you expect the quality of services what you would expect.
