Review Of GMVN Hotel Barkot (Janta Yatri Niwas)

Location good, room & bathroom clean, staff cordial, food quality to be improved, rent less as compared to private hotels. Gmvn hotels being govt sector are best for safety & security. Tourist are advised to use these hotels.

We stayed at this place during our yamunotri gangotri trip in septa 2023. Booking: through mmt. There was some confusion around booking when i called the resort on the day of stay. The staff told me my booking was not valid or something. However mm t help desk clarified the doubts and i checked in smoothly. Stay: we stayed for one day. The room was comfortable with clean bathroom and toilet. Food: we had dinner at the same place. Though the menu was limited, we were served hot, tasty and fresh food. However it would have been better if price menu was displayed somewhere. Staff: welcoming and helpful. Overall: 3. 5/5
