The location is little difficult to find bcz matheran doesn't have updated map in google maps. The property has four rooms and two has very good balcony view(will get that room as per availability), one has window view and one doesn't. Each room and bathroom is different in size. The balcony rooms r very good and other room is ok. You should take extra care about monkeys. Hot water availability in bathroom is available in the morning and they may provide in bucket other hours as per ur rqst. comparatively new property. if u r going for site seeing, k is little expensive when u compare with the other Gokul Valley View Homestay | Rooms & Caretakers (available in different range 500-15000₹). but looking for some personal time and relaxation, this place is very good.

The location of this Gokul Valley View Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker is really wonderful with a hill view and sunrise spot. Those who like to wakeup early for sunrise can definitely book your stay here to have a wonderful experience..even at night's you get to see the city view from the balcony.. i should tell about Bhaskar shinde who is incharge of this property..a good caretaker and very supportive. thanks bhaskar bhai for providing us with a wonderful stay. note: monkeys are there as its a hill station.so avoid having snacks from balcony. and dont keep the balcony doors open and you will end up meeting monkeys in ur bed😂.

We went in the off season, so we got the big valley view room. It's a nice big room, with a king size bed. The usp of the room is the valley view - from the bed, we can see the opposite mountain. It has a nice balcony for seeing the opposite mountain (just don't look down - as that way you will see roofs of the other houses. The bathroom is clean and spacious. They don't have an attached restaurant, but bharat will get packed food from their veg restaurant delivered to them. Definitely recommend staying, if you are looking for a clean, basic Gokul Valley View Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker room with a good view.

Homestay is very closely located to main market, 3mins from matheran railway station. Owner and caretaker were very helpful and well behaved. Room interiors and view from room balcony was mesmerising. Food was ordered through caretaker and was delivered without any extra charge. They provided hot water buckets on arrival as it was raining very heavily and we were fully drenched. If you are going in summer please check ac if its working as it was not working during my stay. Also keep your balcony windows closed all time as there will be unwanted guest in form of monkeys visiting your room.

He was very polite and very supportive. He provides excellent service. A wonderful and great experience to stay here. This is surely one of the best budget homestay in matheran. It has got one of the best mountain views (sunrise can be viewed, a beautiful gallery, great amenities, functional ac and tv, hot water from morning 7 to 9, clean and spacious room, hygienic washroom and also it is just near the market place. The owner is a good, cheerful, helpful person. We didn't even have to call him for any issue once we checked in. Great experience overall! would definitely recommend for family and couples.

If you want to see a sun rise and valley from your room and if you want to have a quality time with your friends & loved ones in balcony with excellent valley view, then this stay is perfect for you. The owners are very kind and warm people, you'll love your stay here. You won't get these valley views in any five star resorts. Tip: make sure you book rooms with balcony because they are more spacious and valley view is a delightful to watch.

The only thing about the property which i didn't like is the rooms are on the upper floor where the owner's house is at the ground floor and he renovated the top floors and made 3 rooms like Gokul Valley View Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker rooms. But the rooms are spacious and the owner of the house was helpful. You can ask for any help from the caretaker. The property is close to matheran station. No

5. i had a beautiful stay at gokul valley view the caretaker bhaskar is really cooperative the rooms were clean the caretaker was available all the time and fulfilled our need kudus to mmt as well👌🏻

Rooms was clean and balcony view was very nice.

Experience was good, just a suggestion to change check out timing as before 10am is very difficult, due to frequency of train not available and customer has no waiting area. Like other room-stay 12 noon checkout wil be good option. Rest everything was good, enjoyed a morning and evening view from room. Mr bhaskar is very supportive, it's all because of him and it's management rating is high

The location is nearby main market so food and everything is quite easy to find. The room location is also excellent, the staffs were very helpful, specially mr. Bhaskar. Will surely visit again next time.

The owner of the property is very nice person, co-operative. Good foods are also available from his near by own restaurant. People who would like the comfort of homestay can try this option at very reasonable rate.

The place is located on the edge from which we can view th whole mountains, morning fog and clouds touching the peaks ( very beautiful and prime) food comes to your room in 20 min of time after ordering which is very quite being a crowded marker nearby. Its was very clean and hygienic.
