Golden Swan Beach Resort

I recently stayed at the Golden Swan Beach Resort from the 21st to 23rd of September, and overall, the experience was wonderful. Located right on the beachfront, this property offers a perfect escape into nature with its private beach—a true highlight. The exclusivity of the beach sets it apart, offering a serene and peaceful environment where you can relax without the usual beach crowds. **Service:** A special mention goes to the resort staff, who were outstanding in every way. Their attentiveness and prompt service added a lot of value to the stay. From check-in to check-out, the staff ensured that all needs were met with a smile, making the stay truly enjoyable. **Location & Ambience:** The beachfront location is idyllic, offering stunning views and a refreshing sea breeze. The private beach is the resort’s biggest USP, providing a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The property is also well-maintained in terms of cleanliness and offers a neat, tidy environment. **Rooms & Maintenance:** While the overall property is pleasant, the rooms could use some attention. They are functional but definitely show signs of aging. Issues like outdated electrical fittings and the need for general maintenance were noticeable. While this didn’t majorly impact the comfort of the stay, addressing these issues would elevate the guest experience significantly. A bit of renovation and upkeep, especially in the rooms, would make this already excellent property even better. Golden Swan Beach Resort remains one of the best properties in Murud despite some room maintenance issues. Its stunning beachfront location, coupled with exceptional service, makes it an ideal choice for a peaceful beach getaway. If you’re looking for a serene retreat by the sea, this resort is a fantastic option, but it would be even better with some room upgrades and there should be some kind of Kids play area so that Kids can enjoy

Murud does not have too many resort like properties but golden swan turned out to be a decent one. Got around 20-25 rooms and right in front of the beach. Staff was courteous and polite. I have booked two sea view ac cottage. It’s tooooo spacious with an additional room attached. Lenin, furniture and bathroom was up to the mark and didn’t notice any issue. Limited food options were there but whatever they had was very too yummm. Unfortunately they weren’t offering much variety of seafood. Just surmai n prawn that too the small portions. Another disappointment was the wait time for food which takes good 30mins for food to come. When asked why it takes such long? the reason was viable because they don’t keep pure cooked gravey and everything they make on order. That was evident with the taste of food. Rest everything was good. They must add swimming pool as that’s one thing missing.

Delightful stay at golden swan. We traveled as 3 families, 9 people and booked via makemytrip. They allotted 4 interconnected rooms to us in single cottage. The food was awesome. Up-ma was especially fantastic. The beach is right next to the resort and we got out multiple times on the beach. Atv rides, ghodagadi ride, etc. We did it all. The best thing was the super friendly staff and great service.

The location is excellent bang on the beach. Cottages were clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and approachable with quick responses. My last visit was in 2007 and now in 2024, both my vists were equally wonderful. I found the visiting crowd at the resort is also good food was acceptable and can be better

Great property, spacious rooms, very well maintained, staff is very good, food was also great. Added advantage of the property being beach front with private access to the beach. Main location of murud beach entrance is only 800 meters away with proximity of outside restaurants.

Fabulous location. Very spacious rooms. Quite a good food selection at the buffet for all meals. Room service has scope for improvement to make it quicker and more responsive. The best part, is the staff. Super courteous and friendly

The property located is at excellent location and the vibes that you get over there is unbelievable. This is perfect for family.

Very good resort right on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful, overall liked the service. Food is ok. Ambience is cozy. They arrange nice outside seating in open area. We liked overall experience.

Stay was good. Lunch, dinner, breakfast wa as included. Lunch and dinner was ok but breakfast was amazing. Staff was supportive.

Superb. Beach resort in true sense staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is very nice. I suppose the swans and beach are plus points.

Had a pleasant stay. Though resort was a bit old, rooms were maintained well. Highlight of the place is the beach. Food was also good and as it was off season the resort was less crowded. We really enjoyed the stay.
