My booking clearly mentioned a check-in time of 2:00 PM, but unfortunately, I received my room only around 6:30 PM. After a 12-hour journey, I was really looking forward to checking in, resting, and freshening up — but was surprised to find that even by 6 PM, the room wasn’t ready.
Initially, I was even shown a used and dirty room, which was quite disappointing. After several follow-ups the hotel team, I finally got my room around 6:30 PM.
That said, I would like to appreciate the staff’s polite behavior and cooperation throughout — they tried their best within their limits. However, my suggestion to hotel management is to take this matter seriously. Guests also value their time, and just as hotels expect timely checkout, ensuring timely check-in should be a priority as well.
Overall, a decent stay after check-in, but the initial experience needs serious improvement.
