Comfortable, Affordable, Loved it!
I had some doubts but everything cleared once I saw the room, and common area. It was very neat and maintained. They have all the facilities one could want and I could easily stay for a long time, it was that comfortable! Out of the staff, I had a great interaction with Harika and she was amazing at her work. She would take care of everything so the guests could have a comfortable stay. This was my first time in Gostops but on the basis of this experience, I would say I am definitely going to stay there whenever I go.

Great stay, clean atmosphere, and wonderful management! I stayed at this hostel last week during my trip to Pondicherry, and it was a fantastic experience. The management was extremely supportive and made sure all guests felt comfortable and welcomed. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, clean, and hygienic, which made the stay pleasant and hassle-free. The overall atmosphere of the hostel was peaceful and friendly — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. I also appreciated how approachable and helpful the staff were whenever we needed assistance or local recommendations. Highly recommended for solo travelers, groups, or anyone looking for a neat, budget-friendly stay with good vibes in Pondicherry. I’ll definitely come back!

Good Stay
Had a good and pleasant stay here. The bunk beds were clean and offered enough privacy, which made the stay comfortable and peaceful without much disturbance. The bathroom was decent, but there’s definitely scope for improvement in terms of maintenance or upgrades.

Good Stay
The staff there was amazing. I stayed there for over two weeks. A brilliant experience. However the place is a bit dead. There was a time when I started getting bored.

Very poor experience
All the tourist places are very far from here. Also the food is very poor here. Every main places are almost around 30-45 mins distance which is very inconvenient.

Majboori me rehna pad a @gostops
Experience was average. Too far from the main white town of pondicherry and also the beach area. The food quality provided at gostops was worst and they were charging too much for the foood, not worth it. You can stay here if you want to travel 10 kms to reach the beach areas else find near by hotels

Excellent Stay
I recently stayed at goSTOPS Auroville for 5 nights and had a great experience. The hostel is located in a beautiful and tranquil setting within Auroville, offering a unique ambiance. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing valuable information about the area. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a good space to socialize with other travelers. However, the location is quite remote, making it challenging to access other parts of Auroville and Pondicherry without relying on transportation.

It was nice staying there, everything was clean and enough ! staff was polite and helpful ! overall a nice place just a little far from the main visiting places however you can cover the auroville part from here !

Excellent Stay
It was a wonderful stay, nice accommodation with polite, helpful, and cooperative staff. There were games to play. Today beds with proper amenities. Clean bathrooms equipped with all necessities. It's the best place to stay near auroville at the best price specifically if you're looking for dorms. We enjoyed our time there to the fullest.

Bad ambiance and okay okay room. Still charged alot. Not well maintained, way to the room was all muddy.

Peaceful locatibut pathetic services
The property is located in an isolated village area. If you are in search of peace then you can choose this property. Near matri mandir just walking distance of 5 minutes. Auroville bakery is around 4-5 km. Auroville biodiversity park is around 3-4 km. The restaurant service of the property is pathetic. I ordered veg noodles and they served me non veg noodles however they changed the plate but that was very bad experience. The taste of the food is also not as per expectations and the pricing of the food is premium. The private room is a small room with a queen bed and attached private washroom. There is no almirah inside the room. Overall the experience is just ok and that too just because of the peaceful and green environment.

coupleIt was a nice stay but private room & washroom were not that hood as compared to other gostops like in ooty. It should be much bigger & comfortable according to the price we paid. Food also needs to be improved.

Budget friendly
A stay within your budget. Food is available 24/7 but its little expensive and not good. They have parking space and some games. Prefer only for stay.

It was not okay with out a pool and games. I didn't expected this from go stops. Small building with rooms that's it.
