Green street pahalgam is an affordable stay in pahalgam. However if you are looking for a place in winter(december to march) this might not be the right place for you since it does not have a central cooling or gas heater. The owner is very responsive and takes care of most of your needs. In case you're one of those folks who spends most of the time checking out the place you are visiting rather than being in the hotel then this is the one for you. Basic room with attached toilet/bathroom, no attached restaurant. Visit near by "gashi multi cuisine restaurant" for delicious food.
