Wonderful hotel. Very neat and clean room. Room size is big. Lawn is too good full of flowers. Good parking. Owner as well hotel staffs are very polite and friendly

I stayed in gagal residency and i should say it’s one of the best place to stay in mahabaleshwar between panchgani and mahabaleshwar. The receptionalist or i should say manager kiran was very humble and helpful in all the querie. The homemade food was awesome and mouth watering and all the staff was very helpful.

Cannot describe it was so good the best stay I have ever had.
Very good comfortable beds and a very spacious room if you choose a family room.

I stayed for 3 nights. Overall experience was good. Food was good. Service is nice. Overall recommended.
The only thing I disliked about the room was there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom cause of which it takes a while to remove the smell while using it and the WiFi doesn't work properly otherwise the service was good, rooms were clean, food was good, car parking available and friendly staff.

OK, 30 minutes from old Mahabaleshwar at Panchgani road.
All good, except they offer water in jugs rather than mineral water bottle.

We booked the room through makemytrip.com for 26th and 27th of dec 2014, not knowing what to expect, as we were doing this kind of online booking of hotel, not seen by us in person. We were very happy at the welcome we received by the hotel staff. They were very efficient at what they did. The room we got was quite beautiful and comfortable. We were surrounded by strawberry farms. Nice view! We were given a map which explained us the topography of the region, and which points to be covered. Very helpful, it turned out to be. We visited Kates point, Echo Point, Shiva Temple, Krishnaai Mandir (the origin of river Krishna), went boating in Venna Lake.. The next day trekked up Pratapgad Fort and visited Tapola the backwaters of Koyna. At night we got good & fresh veg thali at the hotel (we had informed them of our need, prior). We enjoyed our trip to Mahabaleshwar very much. It was a pleasing stay at Hotel Gugal Residency.

Good location it was very near to many tourist points. Best thing of this hotel was the food. Very tasty and fresh. We can have any food in this hotel without having any doubts.

The hotel is located in a very good location near the main road. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Food is also good. It's a good hotel to visit Mahabaleshwar. Value for money.
