Review Of Haveli Katkoun Bundi

It was a sheer chance to stumble across this property on mm t. I decided to take the the plunge and it lived up to my expectations. It is not some fancy place with curated looks and curated experiences with manufactured politeness. The host raghu( chintu) and renu jee were very polite and catered to all my needs. They provided all the warmth one could never expect from a hotel stay. Highly recommended.

The haveli location is very beautiful

Food is not good and property is not in good condition

Room was not very clean, buckets, mops and cleaning materials were left outside our room for an hour the owners were not bothered about even showing us to our room, or even addressing small issues like flush tank in our bathroom not working. They asked us to open a valve ourselves, which then spurted water over us. At this point, we decided to leave the place and go to another hotel. Dont know how this can even be an mm t assured place. Food also was not fresh - half cooked and sour dairy. Overall, terrible experience.

A homestyle atmosphere with great hosts and some amazing fresh food made on the hotel premises. I would definitely recommend you stay here. I reached there late in the night and they were up waiting for me. :) The building reflects the local architecture of the region and gives you a very homely feel. Although, check the type of room you are getting while booking as I ended up with a very small room.

Value for money, nice sightseeing near hotel, naval sagar pond is on 5 minutes walking distance.

Good clean rooms and run entirely by family. Its a homestay rather than hotel so do not expect very professional and courteous service. Overall hotels is Bundi cater to foreigners and I feel they want to avoid indians and this hotel is not an exception. Great value for money though !!

Excellent hosts. The people are friendly and helpful. I will recommend it to all. I am planning to send my mother there in the wibters. The roof top restaurant food and view both are awesome. I wish I had stayed few more days

I feel good experience during stay in hotel as a clean rooms, good atmosphere, good attitude of hotel owner. Only restaurent is not working so some uncomfortable feel. On demand prepared by staff good food.

The owner of this Haveli did not listen when I asked him for recommendation for a nearby restaurant, claimed all neighbors are bad and that is how he trapped us in an over expensive dinner. Shame, because it seems a nice place. The other guests are rude there, lots of backpackers that leave magazines in hebrew with a naked lady on the back in the room. Staff did not consider to remove it when cleaning the room.
