We had an overnight stay here in Aug 2024 Could clearly see it is one of the bigger and well maintained houseboats among the others. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were immaculately clean. Hot water and heater was available in our room. They also provided an extra bed for child and despite this addition the room was still very spacious to move around. The person in charge took care of our requirements in a timely manner. The meals served for dinner and breakfast was fresh, homely and tasted great. We love the fact that it was a private space and not open to those who had not booked a room. Hands down the best houseboat experience!

The night stay at hay-at houseboat was enchanting. The traditional kashmiri decor, coupled with the serene waters, created a picturesque setting. Fahad's hospitality and the cozy ambience of the houseboat made it a memorable experience, offering a perfect blend of comfort and the unique charm of staying on water. Highly recommend for a tranquil retreat.

We had a lovely time at hay-at houseboat and had sale-em and manzoor looking after us. The houseboat is like a palace and beautifully done up internally. They have a lovely deck upstairs to watch the sunset and we had tea in the morning. The houseboat is neat and tidy and doesn’t smell like others. Adil cooked us a feast for dinner and a scrumptious breakfast too and u mar looked after us throughout. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it.

We had booked the deluxe room and were upgraded to suite as it was vacant. The room had a fan and an ac. Bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. The high tea was good. Kahwa was available on demand as many times as asked. The view from the deck is mesmerizing. The kashmiri thali was delicious. Breakfast had live omelette and pratha counter.

It was a beautiful boat house with proper facilities.. has a magnificent living room quite comfortable.. Mattress heaters are available Hot water facility is also available along with very good washroom Smart TV and wifi are also available Food is too bad..

My friends and i had a nice stay at this property. We were assisted by mr fahad who was very helpful and answered all our queries patiently. He assured that we felt at home from the moment we reached. Noteworthy to mention that mr sale-em dropped me to the ghat himself by boat early next morning at 6:30 am which was a very kind gesture on his part. The property is easily accessible by shikara. The food served at the property was flavorful and homely.

The boat manager, saleem is very professional and made our stay very comfortable. The boat is very well maintained, neat and beautifully done. I highly recommend you pick this if you intend to stay in a houseboat. However, when you sit out, you will have views of the lake.

The fact that this houseboat is gorgeous with all the intricate cedarwood carvings, perfectly adorned interiors coupled with an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas doesn't even begin to describe why I'm in love with this place. As soon as we reached the dock, we were greeted by an entourage of staff and were seated in the houseboat Front Area with a nice hot cup of Kahwa and assorted cookies. The owner personally greeted us and as we spoke about our trip,we instantly knew we were going to enjoy every bit of our experience in the houseboat. The owner spoke to us for a good hour about his travels and experiences about the world and personally made sure we were taken care of with a scrumptious Kashmiri dinner. The chef also delivered on our dessert request. The staff were so polite and welcoming and took care of our every need no matter what. There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full with love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Hayat Group of Houseboats 🚢⛵!

Will recommend everyone to book this and enjoy the hospitality of kashmir at its best. First time living in a houseboat and honestly loved the surrounding, loved the atmosphere over here. Really satisfied with what we got and i really appreciate it way too much. Keep it well, everything is well organized too so yea i absolutely loved it. Last but not the least we got to meet some amazing people who know how to treat people well. Thanks to you mr fa-had for arranging the trip for us and thanks to chacha for making our stay comfortable, my son had an amazing time with you. Pro tip - book shikara ride in advance. Mr fa-had will help to get a good deal. And for smokers, dont miss kesar paan shisha when you visit dal lake )

I am happy to give more than 5 stars to this houseboat if i could. Starting with check-in everything was smooth. Our concierge, dear bhai totally spoiled us with his amazing service. The owner of this houseboat, himself visited to know if everything was going good and were we satisfied or not. The candle light dinner decorated by dear bhai and the cake were way more than expected. We were just speechless. Peaceful location! service is top notch! very accommodating!truly appreciate his excellent service etiquettes.

Worst house boat experience. Never book with hay-at group. They asked us to check in at a different house boat which was in bad condition and the owner of that house boat was a rude person. Zero hospitality

The images were deceiving and the hotel was not at all what was shown in the photos. It was very dirty and shabby. Terrible experience i do not recommend this hotel at all.

The worst houseboat ever seen, no proper sanitation facilities. The name is different and it is mentioned in the mm t as hay-at group of houseboats which is confusing and i got the worst experience. I will personally never ever recommend this houseboat and booking through mm t as they misguide it by the name.
