Heevan Pahalgam

Heevan pahalgam scores with the location - it’s located at any absolutely gorgeous spot, with scenic mountain views and the flowing river below. Beyond that, there is not much to the property. It’s jaded and in need of an upgrade. The rooms through comfortable can be better, especially the bathrooms which are really dated. We had 2 deluxe rooms with the river view and 2 standard rooms with the back view. One of the rooms overlooked directly into a newer section so the curtains had to be drawn at all times. The standard rooms have a small bathroom with bathtub only and no shower area. If traveling with senior, make sure you call the property to request for rooms on ground / first floor. Food at their dilkusha restaurant is okay but the italian restaurant is really nice. Overall, go for the ambience and the views. It’s still the best Heevan Pahalgam in pahalgam.

This is located in a spectacular spot along side the river, as shown in the photos and the only way of reaching it is to walk the bridge crossing the river from the other side. The rooms we stayed in has the river view but not all the rooms have similar views, so we have to be careful while booking your rooms. The rooms are built with a wooden ski lodge aesthetic and some of the switches and furnishings are very old and adds to the overall theme. The complimentary breakfast was good nothing spectacular. Its located only a few kilometres from the town. This is the only stay that has this unique location as far as my knowledge. Prices might be high but relatively reasonable compared to other star resorts nearby.

Hotel heevan pahlgam. Stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Food - at time of preparation you need to categorically tell them the requirements and taste. Else your surprise can turn into shock. Room stay - had stayed in deluxe room for 1 night and standard room 1 night. Charm and luxury of staying in deluxe room with river mountain view is unparalleled. Staff - all staff are courteous. There is a photo studio in the Heevan Pahalgam premises. Do remember to get yourself clicked by mr. Javed. He will get some good scenic shots at discounted rates.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location of the Heevan Pahalgam is beautiful, river flowing just next to it. Rooms are comfortable with good heating arrangements. Bathrooms are neat and clean with hot water running 24 hours. So we had a very comfortable stay. View from the room was beautiful though it was a ground floor room, but we still got a good view of the river and lawns, both. Food was tasty with wide range of veg and non veg items. And behaviour of the staff was very good. Overall, a very memorable stay. Came back with fond memories.

Location is superb, staff are good but if you compare the service with rest of india or world based on this segment you might not find it great. Hotel staff do not help much on providing recommendations of places to visit during winter or eateries. Most of the time you will feel its quite a standard and business as usual. As such the place is beautiful. If you get a room without a view its waste of money. Our day 1 was without a view, after lot of request day 2 was upgraded. Book for location and view.

Over priced. not worth spending per night. 5 star price but 2 star facilities / service. Room was small. bathroom very uncomfortably small. Dinner was very mediocre, very less variety. just one lousy starter and two lousy deserts. No daal or pulao. Breakfast was very good. Heater did not work whole night. Not adequate drinking water was given. Toiletries were not filled every day. Spring mattress was not comfortable at all. Location is very good. Just on the bank of Lidder.

A pretty Heevan Pahalgam at picturesque location in banks of lidder river. Pros: centrally heated rooms, good restaurant, full time hot water, mountain view rooms makes us feel luxurious stay. Cons: for one night stay, washrooms are not upto mark, means amenities of washroom look older, seems a classic touch, but have to renovate with modern equipment. Altogether it will be not disappointing. Can experience onetime stay waking up morning seeing snow cl-added mountains.

The entire staff of the hote including reception, restaurant, house keeping, room service and all is superb and cooperative from check in to check out with positive way. In restaurant food and their staff is excellent in goods and services. Reception people also too cooperate with the good behavior or indoor games like card, carrom, chess and many more too good. House keeping and room service staff also give onetime work when any call attempts. Thanks mr jain. Dome

Excellent property, great food with great staff

I booked 2 rooms in heevan for my birthday travel to pahalgam. Rooms are old. Needs renovation. Breakfast spread was not very good as what we expected as per the rates we paid for the rooms. Only booked it for the location.

Beautiful location. Beautiful ambience. Nice backdrop of mountains. River flowing just alongside the Heevan Pahalgam. Lovely cafe. Couldn’t have asked more for a relaxing holiday. Service could have been much faster. Wifi was not working for more than 24 hours. Cafe food was good. Breakfast and dinner options good.

Good property and excellent location. Still the maintenance was poor. For the rates they are asking, they shud hv provided better amenities at the Heevan Pahalgam. Like no recreational activities if i was staying long. We took breakfast and dinner buffet. It was ok ok. Location is good but i wud prefer to go to another Heevan Pahalgam nxt time

This is the best Heevan Pahalgam in pahalgam. It is just on the bank of lidder river with a mesmerising view. Food and hospitality is also superb.

We stayed in a junior suite. The room was very comfortable and the heating and hygiene were very good. The location of the Heevan Pahalgam is good and the view is breathtaking. The restaurant staff are excellent and the always ready to serve. The variety of food is also good. The house keeping staff is very good.

I had a pleasant stay at heevan, with its beautiful location near the river, good food, and cordial staff, making it a memorable experience.

Overall the stay is good. Hotel location is good - pleasant with running stream of water. Food is okay! it you have your own transportation, it’s better. Else, it’s about 2km walk to the market. It’s good if Heevan Pahalgam can operate a shuttle or support to drop market in some intervals
