  Stakmo village is a picturesque place for a quiet stay at Leh with local sightseeings just 15 mins away. The property is far from the city, nearly 22km, which is good if you want to stay in an isolated location. The view from the room is breathtaking, and you can have a complete view of nature from the room itself. The night sky is beautiful as it’s away from pollution.

• Cleanliness

  The rooms and bathrooms were clean and hygienic. The bed linen was of high quality.

• Food & Dining

  The food was delicious and was provided according to the choice. The host's family prepared delicious homely food for us, which was farm-fresh and tasty. They are one of the best cooks. The momos with chutney they prepared for us were the best I've ever eaten. The meals were always yummy with great coffee and tea.

• Host

  The host and his whole family made us feel literally at home in this home away from home. They took complete care of us and helped in every way they could. The host is one of the warmest and kindest hosts. He is like an elder brother for me. He always made sure that I did not feel homesick. He used to invite me over for tea every morning and made sure I took care of my health by drinking a lot of water.
