Hey. The following is an earnest response for my recent stay at hostel ivory, jaipur. Although during an initial inquisition made before the booking, directly to the hotel owner, we were told that the hostel is completely booked and we were asked to book asap considering the increase in demands for accomodation. The same wasn't true upon our arrival though. We were the only people who checked in that day and the entire property was empty. The stay was adequate if not decent. Plenty of reasons for that are as follows: 1. The beds and linen are there but not suitable enough to make you through the chilling winters, it really cuts deep when temprature drops in middle of night. 2. There's no cleaning or proper sweeping of the house. All three days we were there, it wasn't cleaned well. 3. The hotel is run by owner and his family members, all to say, are pretty un-amicable towards the guests. 4. The rooftop view as shown in the photos wasn't available for sight seeing. 5. The backyard view is good for an evening dinner or maybe an afternoon brunch. 6. There are no cupboards to arrange your clothes or anything. 7. The kitchenette and it's equipments weren't available to us. It was cautiously denied to us with some obnoxious reason. 8. The owner is helpful and is reachable. He is adjusting regarding your in and out hours but is very stern that about move in and move out hours. 9. The toiletries such as toilet paper isn't available. But running hot water is all time available for you. 10. You get decent wifi. Overall, we had a mix reaction on the saty. On some fronts, we felt good and worth paying to see the back of nahargarh fort. But on some other fronts, it was hard for us to cope with the circumstances.
