Nice staff and front office manager who will take care of you very well, good hospitality and caring staff good food and nice understanding of staff and protocols, local sight seeing support also given well. They even give complimentary food that's very good.

I have seen the property many a times whenever i came dehradun but never got chance to stay. Earlier my seniors used to stay here and there feedback was wonderful. So, this time when i got chance so i preferred staying in the property. Hotel has a big lawn and good parking space too.

location is near mussoorie road..I would say far end of dehradun if you are coming from Delhi. But it is worth to stay here. This hotel is very old and is recently renovated. Staff is very courteous and rooms are clean, nicely done. Extra star for food.I recommend to stay here

Clean, spacious, well maintained rooms. Courteous staff. Decent food. Right on the rajpur road and near markets and malls. Also, one of the less crowded locations in town.

Choose to stay at this hotel after 15 years. Last time, i stayed here in 2008 and loved the property. Hence, i went expecting the same, though i was a bit apprehensive. The hotel is now more modern, cleaner, and good-looking. Everyone is so helpful that they over-seeded the expectations. Specifically mention mr. Rakesh at the restaurant. He was the epitome of servicing and is an asset for the organization. He took personal care and remembered what we liked in our food choice. The food buffet was quite varied, and all the items were freshly made. We loved the piping hot mooli and gobhi parantha served on the table. There was an array of choices and the servicing of mr. Rajesh was cherry on the cake. Rooms and washrooms were extremely clean. Drinking water was always available on demand. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly.

The stay was extremely pleasant, hotel staff is outstanding, specially the restaurant staff. Food is good and the location is superb. Walking distance to many of the nice restaurants which are there on rajpur road like the kalsang.

We, a family of 6 members, all sr citizens (from bl-ore and goa), stayed on 2 nights ( 30/10 and 2/11 ) in 3 rooms @ hotel aketa. The ambience, quality upkeep of rooms, amenities, room service and hospitality was excellent. Special mention is of restaurant -quality of food and personalised service (esp. For early morning breakfast) rendered by mr khan and mr rajesh who seemed to truly follow 'atithi devobhava'. . Would strongly recommend to our family and friends to prefer staying in hotel aketa@dehradun.

The room was pretty good. I stayed in the superior single room. For the price, it was a bit expensive. However, the service was good. All amenities were provided. Would have been great if the tv was an android tv. It could however be paired with phone to play music. I ordered room service and also dined in their restaurant. Food was decent. Not exceptional but decent for the price. The staff was police and very helpful. I think it was a great stay and you should definitely consider staying there even as a solo person. Good location and blink-it is also available in this area. Wi-fi was also provided and there was a work desk in the room. Overall very good stay.

I have visited dehradun after 29 years to do some official work someone else suggested me for this hotel and i am happy that have been there staff is very humble and supportive. Breakfast and room dining is also very from and quality is food is good. @ i will have been told by the staff members that my booking has been upgraded and they are giving me the premium room was good, spacious and clean. Specially want to name a person mr rajesh is a restaurant incharge. For making me more comfortable. Thanks.
