electricity not working in hotel
When I check In there was no electricity till evening. Very bad services they promised electricity will continue in just half an hour but no electricity for 3 hours. Then I check out , due to there no electricity but they gives only excuses only

room very small floor very dirty bathroom not clean properly TV not working many times i informed but no action taken by anyone very very bad service so I check out after 5 hour and booked another hotel

rooms not as expected. 🚿 not working, staff not well trained. they charged for drinking extra water. i was given the key for cleaning during mid day time & i came in the afternoon, i observed they offered my room to someone else. i waited at reception for around 30 minutes then they were given keys to me. i never faced such behaviour last 10 years.. i don't have an image.

Excellent Stay
We had gone there for a business trip. Location was very close to our office and there are many restaurants and cafes near by. Staff is polite and cook makes delicious food. Rooms are big with all modern amenities. I will definitely recommend this hotel for leisure and business travellers.

Everything is too good and my meeting location is also nearby, I tried Manchurian and veg fried rice that's damn good.

Hotel alaknanda has a nice location, and hotel staff is very polite. Overall, i had a very comfortable stay. The good car parking facility is also a plus point. Also a lot of shops and eateries are there outside hotel alaknanda.

Terrible and not recommending at all
Pathetic, terrible experience, no cleanliness, high charges, no wifi, wasted money, pillows were dirty, washroom too nhi clean.

Need to improve in service
groupProperty is nice but not maintained. Rooms were ok ok. Bedsheets, blankets were dirty. You need to ask for everything like toiletry, towel. They are naive. Staff was not professional but at-least polite. They sent cup of tea uncovered, which got cold.

Average Stay
For me cleanliness in rooms were ok but cleanliness in toilets need improvements some more things like we asked for 2 extra quilts but counter staff supplied only 1 extra quilt and toiletries were supplied only at one room however supplied on demand for 2nd room too.

Location of the property is very good. Rooms need to be updated because some rooms knobs are defective. Tv all channels are locked due to subscription lapsed.

Poor Stay
The hotel did not maintain neat bathrooms. The toilet was stained and not cleaned well. The chairs in the room were broken but fixed such that it looked like it would break any time. The table was dusty. The worst was the wifi connection. In-spite of the router being just outside our room, no connection could be established during our two night stay. We informed the hotel staff about this situation but to no avail. The room did not have any windows. The only means of ventilation was an exhaust fan. The rooms also stank when someone from the other rooms smoked cigarettes. This stink was throughout the room and the bathroom. The only plus point about this hotel was its prime location with lots of eating options and connectivity.
